11.1 to Mohammad Hafeez, strikes first ball in his second spell! Typical Steyn delivery, lands on the off stump and thereabouts and moves away, has Hafeez prodding forward, doesn't cover the line, thick outside edge low to first slip. 21/2
26105952.261297002
7.3 to Nasir Jamshed, that drop didn't cost much did it? Jamshed fails to make use of the life, this was pitched up and moving away, he was forward for the drive, thick outside edge to the keeper and Philander gets another batsman with his stock delivery that hones in on the off stump. 10/1
87.6 to Younis Khan, Appeal for an lbw and he's been given not out and Smith's reviewing it, pitched on a good length on middle and off and was coming in with the angle, Hot Spot detects a thin inside edge to the pads, the ball lobbed towards the keeper, the ball carries to AB and it looks like the lbw will be cancelled and it is - Younis is out caught behind. 252/5
91.1 to Asad Shafiq, Philander strikes first ball! Typical Philander wicket, that teasing away swinger, lands outside off and has Shafiq pokes his bat out and edges to first slip, Smith takes it neatly falling to his left. 259/6
93.4 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, awesome catch by Alviro! One handed, Philander pitched it on off and got it to move away, Sarfraz pushed at it and the outside edge went low to Petersen's right at third slip, stuck his right hand out and no doubts about the catch, top effort. 266/7
95.5 to Umar Gul, He's been given lbw and Gul has reviewed it, lands it on a good length just a shade outside off and coming in with the angle, Gul's struck high on the pads as he tries to work it away, HawkEye shows that clipping the stumps so the decision stays. 268/8
20.365922.87977001
16.2 to Azhar Ali, loose drive! Quite unlike Azhar Ali, this was pitched up and holding it's line, a touch wide outside off, Azhar was driving away from the body and the edge was taken by AB. 33/3
16.6 to Misbah-ul-Haq, caught at short leg! No doubt about that one, Morkel had set him up by bowling it short and Misbah was awkwardly fending them off, this was directed on the body, tried to fend it to the on side, hits his glove and lobs to Elgar at short leg. Hot Spot showed a mark on the handle, seems to be working fine today. 33/4
19.325202.66853000
23.209424.02958400
114.1 to Tanvir Ahmed, Tanvir goes just before lunch! Tossed up and he comes forward and looks to launch him over the off side, can't clear mid-off and Philander takes it easily. 332/9
116.2 to Mohammad Irfan, another slog but this time Peterson hits! Flighted on middle and leg, he makes room and swings too early and the ball hits the top of the stumps. 338/10

80.5 to AB de Villiers, simple catch and for a change a bowler other than Ajmal takes a wicket! Very soft dismissal, it was a length ball on middle and leg and AB tried to work it away to the on side, too early on the shot and ended up spooning it to mid-on, catching practice for Gul. 210/7
94.3 to VD Philander, leading edge! Irfan using his height to his advantage here, kicked up off a good length at 140 kph, Philander was squared up, wanted to defend to the on side, the ball takes the leading edge high on the bat and lobs to Jamshed who takes it at gully falling forward. 277/8
98.6 to DW Steyn, Steyn's luck runs out, this was pitched outside leg and angling across, Steyn pushes at it and the ball takes the outside edge and Srafraz takes a neat catch falling to his right, three for the debutant Irfan. 303/9
4299662.281989000
13.3 to GC Smith, Appeal for an lbw and Smith's been given not out and Pakistan are reviewing it, tossed up from round the wicket, lands it on middle and leg and hits the pads as he tries to sweep, you could see the leg stump, no inside edge and it wasn't turning enough, Hawkeye shows that clipping the stumps and the decision is reversed. 36/1
17.2 to AN Petersen, bat-pad catch and Petersen has to walk! Tossed up outside off and he goes on the back foot to clip it away, turns, takes the inside edge, hits the pads and Azhar takes a sharp one-handed catch at forward short leg. 50/2
31.4 to HM Amla, appeal for an lbw and the batsman is given not out and Pakistan are reviewing it, it spun back in and Amla was trapped on the back foot, the short leg fielder was in the way so you can't see Hot Spot from that angle, looking at the replay it didn't look like bat was involved, HawkEye says that was crashing into leg stump and the decision has been reversed. At normal speed Amla looked in trouble. 84/3
39.2 to JH Kallis, Kallis has been given out and he is reviewing it, not quite sure if was given out lbw or caught bat-pad, landed outside off and was spinning back in sharply, Hot Spot showed the bat hitting pad but not ball hitting the edge, Hawkeye shows the ball clipping the leg stump and Steve Davis' decision stays. Now there is confusion. Kallis is perplexed and he isn't leaving just yet, he checks with the umpire what the dismissal was, according to the TV commentators Steve Davis originally gave him out caught, but the tjird umpire Bowden ruled him out lbw. It takes Kallis an eternity to leave the field and there are boos. I guess the crowd's confused as well. Looks like we haven't seen the last of this. 102/4
43.6 to F du Plessis, caught at slip and Ajmal's taken all five! Top dismissal for the spinner, comes round the wicket, looked like the doosra, pitched on middle and Faf was poking forward, didn't read the angle and turns the face of the bat, he was in a tangle, gets an outside edge and Younis is alert falling to his left at first slip. 109/5
69.1 to D Elgar, six for Ajmal! Tossed up outside off, the flight was tempting for Elgar to go for the big drive through the off side, thick outside edge and easily taken by Younis at slip. 164/6
9.112412.61382000
102.1 to RJ Peterson, caught at long-on! Tossed up from round the wicket, Peterson gets down to slog and he gets a top edge and that sails to Gul and he takes it easily. 326/10

BOWLINGOMRWECON0s4s6sWDNB

0.2 to Mohammad Hafeez, Hafeez has been given lbw! Hafeez has a long chat with Jamshed and Hafeez decides not to review, lands on the off stump line and comes back in with the angle, Hafeez was playing across the line and the ball hits him flush in front of the stumps, the finger went up. 0/1
15.5 to Younis Khan, he's dragged it on! Steyn bowls a few balls short and then follows it up with a fuller length ball, Younis was trapped at the crease and pushing at one without moving his feet, gets a tame inside edge to the stumps, Steyn restrains his celebration for a few seconds, 'politely' shows Younis the way to the dressing room. 45/3
75.3 to Mohammad Irfan, that's the end of the innings! Short delivery to round things off, Steyn gets it to rise up on the body, too quick for Irfan as he weaves away and the ball takes the shoulder of the bat and Alviro runs back from third slip and takes the catch. 169/10
1964042.10976000
1.3 to Nasir Jamshed, Jamshed's been given out lbw! Long discussion with Azhar and it lasted more than 15 second and Jamshed eventually walks. Lands it on middle and holds its line, Jamshed was on the back foot, the ball skids through and hits him high on the pads, HawkEye shows that clipping the top of the middle stump. 7/2
63.2 to Asad Shafiq, how unlucky is he! Mirrors Faf du Plessis' freak dismissal at the Wanderers! This landed outside off and he defended that with soft hands, the ball bounced close to the crease and spun backwards and hit the base of the off stump and removed the off bail. Shafiq didn't know what was happening and was too late to even react, he walks back stunned. 147/5
65.1 to Azhar Ali, two out of two and Azhar's gone! Typical Philander type of wicket, this was pitched outside off and moving away, Azhar loses his concentration for a split second and pokes his bat out, thick outside edge and well snapped up by AB falling to his right, takes it in front of first slip. 152/7
65.2 to Umar Gul, that's a hat-trick of wickets for South Africa and Philander is on a hat-trick himself! He has Alviro to thank for taking a brilliant catch, this was pitched up and moving away sharply, Gul should have left that alone, reaches out and goes for the drive, outside edge and Alviro at fourth slip flings himself to his left and cups it and falls. 152/8
3.10802.52151000
2987332.511415310
52.2 to Misbah-ul-Haq, popped up to short fine leg would you believe it! Tossed up from over the wicket, lands outside leg, Misbah gets down to sweep and the ball gets the top edge and Smith only had to move a few yards to his right at short fine leg. 114/4
64.6 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, another freakish dismissal! Sarfraz doesn't offer a shot would you believe this! This was pitched outside leg on the rough and spins towards the stumps, Sarfraz shoulders arms assuming that will clear the stumps, it skids and hits the middle of middle stump. Peterson can't believe his luck. 152/6
70.5 to Saeed Ajmal, bowled round his legs! That was what Peterson was aiming for all over by bowling that line, lands it on the rough outside leg, Ajmal was down to sweep, the ball hits his legs and hits the stumps. 158/9

3.3 to AN Petersen, trapped on the back foot! This landed on a good length outside off and came back in off the surface, Petersen was on the back foot, the ball skidded and thudded into his back pad in line with the middle stump, Petersen has a word with Smith and walks off. 10/1
18.125142.80825000
15.3 to GC Smith, trapped on the sweep! Tossed up on middle and off and the ball straightens, looked like hitting the middle stump at normal speed, Smith has a word with Amla but even Amla seemed convinced that it was hitting, no doubts there. 63/2
21.6 to JH Kallis, Kallis has been given out lbw and he is reviewing it, lands outside off and spins back in, exaggerrated shuffle by Kallis as he tried to flick it away, you could see the leg stump, no inside edge and the ball was crashing onto middle and leg and the umpire's call stays. 88/3
35.5 to HM Amla, looks to score back to back boundaries and he's bowled! Is there a twist? Ajmal tosses it up and it's even slower, Amla makes room to drive through the covers and the ball spins back in and hits the off stump, loose shot and Amla goes after scoring a pleasant fifty. 150/4
41.3 to F du Plessis, Faf has been given out lbw and he is reviewing it, hits a good length and spins back in, he was shuffling a long way across and you could see middle and leg, no inside edge and that was hitting alright, Oxenford gets it right. Ajmal picks up ten for the match. 180/6

38.5 to AB de Villiers, well Tanvir actually picks up a wicket! Loose shot by AB, this was full and wide outside off and AB sized up to play the front foot square drive, gets an outside edge to the keeper. 168/5
