Jane coached the England women's 'A' Team to two European Cups before taking the role of England Head Coach for this summer's series against Australia.

Jane is one of England's leading female coaches, achieving Level 3 Cricket Coach Award last year and she is the first woman to progress onto the Level 4 course. Jane also holds the Level 4 Hockey Coach Award and was Head Coach of England's U14, U17, U18 and U21 Hockey Teams between 1988 and 1998.

Jane played cricket for England between 1979 and 1991, making her debut with England U18's. She captained England in the 1988 World Cup in Australia, where England reached the final, losing to the host nation. She has a Test Average of 35.12.

Jane has been a teacher for 23 years, and is currently Head of the PE Department at The Chase School, Malvern, Worcs recently achieving Sportsmark Gold 2000.
