2.2 to SR Watson, he's gone! Tamest dismissal I've seen in a while! Pitched on a short of a good length on off stump, Watson goes for an ugly attempt at a pull shot but doesnt time it at all, ball just balloons up ever so slowly to mid-off and Fulton takes it, first blood for New Zealand. 3/1
2.5 to AC Gilchrist, gone! Mills! Pitches on a good length on leg stump, ball stops on him and all he can do is work that off the hips towards midwicket, where Oram dives forward and plucks it as it dips, another tame shot from an Australian and this side's been rocked. 4/2
28.6 to RT Ponting, Huge wicket! Ponting is gone. Out playing a pull shot. Mills gets the breakthrough in the first over of his second spell. It landed on a length, outside the off stump, jumped up a bit and Ponting tried to fetch it around from there, made contact with the toe-end of the bat and shoveled it across to Vettori at mid-on. 123/4
46.5 to MJ Clarke, Typical end-overs dismissal. Clarke threw his bat at a length-delivery, intending it to sail down the ground, but the moody-ball chose to fly down the throat of thirdman. 220/7
1005525.50384160
45.4 to A Symonds, The legstump is pegged back! Attempted yorker turns into a low full-toss and Symonds shuffles across to the offstump in an attempt to tickle it fine. Misses and the ball brushes the pads before crashing into the leg stump. Big wicket for New Zealand. Symonds could have hurt them in these end-overs. 211/6
47.2 to B Lee, Lee is cleaned up. Goes for the across-the-line slog, misses and hears the death knell. New Zealand are doing pretty well in these end-overs. Not allowing Australia to get away. 223/8
814816.00214022
40.1 to MEK Hussey, As it happens, a change, a not-so-flash delivery gets a wicket. Franklin, off a short run-up, sends across a four-ball. Short in length, well outside the off stump but Hussey ends up cutting straight to point. 188/5
1014304.30355001
1004114.10331100
19.3 to DR Martyn, gone! Tossed up on the stumps, Martyn gets forward and tries to sweep, doesnt read the arm ball and he's caught on the front pad, looked to be hitting leg stump and Bucknor doesnt take long to raise the finger, Vettori strikes. 70/3

6.2 to NJ Astle, cleaned him up! Fast and furious outside the off stump on a great length, nips in a long way and Astle, who's feet go nowhere, can only poke at that and look on in horror as his middle stump goes for a walk, indecisive footwork didnt help, and well bowled Lee. 20/2
45.6 to KD Mills, That'd it. Australia make an entry into the final of Champions Trophy for the first time. Lee bangs one short, Mills backs away, again, to attempt a slog but gets a top-edge.. 206/10
1022232.20503020
5.3 to L Vincent, gone, simple as can be! Lands the ball on the money outside off stump, Vincent comes forward and pokes, head is going towards mid-off, eyes are elsewhere, the face of the bat is opened and the result is a simple edge to Ponting at second slip and Vincent's woeful tournament continues. 16/1
9.2 to HJH Marshall, all over! I saw this one coming; Marshall just stands and dabs the bat at a wide delivery outside the off stump, and its a regulation edge into Gilchrist's palms, McGrath gets another, its back to the hut for that kid. 30/3
13.4 to PG Fulton, yeah, he has NO idea where his off stump is! Lands on a good length outside off stump and moves in, Fulton shoulders arms of all things and looks back to see his off stump pegged back! Wasnt even a deadly delivery or anything, just a basic error on Fulton's part. McGrath gets a third!. 34/5
713625.14295030
10.4 to SP Fleming, Well bowled! A fullish length outside off stump, after moving his way wider and wider with the previous deliveries Bracken brings one in closer and draws Fleming into the drive and then gets the ball to curl away exaggeratedly, and its a simple thick edge into Ponting's safe hands at second slip. 30/4
14.2 to BB McCullum, Gone! A fullish ball on middle and leg, McCullum tries to work that over mid-on, ball bobs up and Martyn takes a good catch moving to his right, Bracken gets another. 35/6
703815.42234021
42.4 to DL Vettori, A tired Vettori falls. Australia heave a sigh of relief. Vettori, getting increasingly tired as the innings progressed, backed away outside the leg stump and had a go at a fullish delivery that followed him but the ball rebounded off his pads back on to the stumps.. 180/9
702713.85232000
38.6 to JEC Franklin, Watson strikes for Australia. Franklin tries to take inspiration from Vettori and attempts to run a length-delivery outside off to thirdman but gets a faint nick.. 159/8
704516.42153100
35.1 to JDP Oram, Huge breakthrough. Symonds and Gilchrist combo works perfectly for Australia. Very smark work from Gilchrist. Symonds beat Oram in flight and then by the turn off the track. Oram was sucked forward, his back feet dragged outside the crease and as soon as he realised he was had, he tried to plant the feet inside the crease but Gilchrist had quickly whipped off the bails. Just in time. It was very good fighting knock from Oram and his dismissal would hurt New Zealand. 138/7
