4.4 to TM Dilshan, got him, hit on the back pad and given! The ball came back at Dilshan, hitting him right in front, the only question was height - Finn doesn't get too many lbws off length deliveries - but it was good enough to convince Steve Davis. 35/1
4042010.5080420
403238.00134110
15.3 to BMAJ Mendis, back of a length, pulled off high on the bat and taken by midwicket. It just skidded on a little bit, he was late on the pull stroke and chipped it not quite over Bopara's head who took a good catch retreating. England needed a wicket badly but that's a great little innings. 126/4
15.4 to AD Mathews, back of a length and dragged it on another double strike bringing England back into the innings again. Again the pull stroke was late and this is a bottom edge onto leg stump, another well-set man goes. 126/5
18.5 to HDRL Thirimanne, slower ball on the stump and a swing and a miss and out goes the off stump. Broad gets his man but damage done here. Was trying to go big over the leg side and missed by a distance. 162/6
402626.50124000
10.1 to DPMD Jayawardene, tossed up outside off, slapped towards midwicket and caught! Didn't get the placement right and the fielder runs in and takes a super catch diving forward low to the ground, big wicket for England. 74/2
10.2 to KC Sangakkara, tossed up outside off again, edged and caught behind! A thin nick and England have two huge breakthroughs in a couple of balls. It was nicely floated up, Sangakkara pressed forward outside off and got a thin edge through to Bairstow. The batsman looked pretty unhappy but the umpire's finger went up quickly. 74/3

19.2 to GP Swann, full and straight, Swann misses again a nice little cameo but too little too late for England. Stepped to leg but a full, quick delivery finds leg stump. 147/9
403157.7594010
2.3 to LJ Wright, bit of width, slashed hard and straight to point! The ball was there to cut but Wright didn't manage to stay on top of it, still whacked it pretty hard though but Dilshan is just the guy you want the ball to fly to in such a situation and he snaps it up. 16/1
2.5 to JM Bairstow, well, there's no doubt about this one, slapped high into the night sky, all height and no trousers, the ball plopping safely into the hands of mid-off. 18/2
2.6 to AD Hales, yorker, smashes Hales on the pad and gone! Three in the over for Malinga! It was full, fierce and practically growling as it reached Hales, who was almost knocked off his feet - Hawk Eye suggests it would have missed leg stump but there are no reprieves in this format and England are tumbling like nine pins. 18/3
13.4 to JC Buttler, short and pulled to long leg too quick and takes the top edge, straight down the throat of the fielder who doesn't have to move. Four wickets for Malinga, what an effort. 91/6
18.5 to SR Patel, steps to leg and at last Patel misses and off stump is out of the ground. A rapid full toss, missed completely and Malinga has five wickets, what a performance. 144/8
4040010.0065110
402626.5081100
10.2 to EJG Morgan, goes for the reverse sweep misses and given out lbw. The key man goes and surely England's challenge is over, looked to be adjacent to leg stump, hit halfway up the front pad. 73/4
14.1 to SCJ Broad, tossed up outside off, well struck but in range of extra cover, who juggles but takes the catch on the rebound. Everything going right for Sri Lanka. Tried to go up and over but didn't get it above the fielder's reach and it's claimed well, first spilled above his head but turns round and takes the simple chance. 93/7

11.4 to RS Bopara, bowled him! Straight threw, didn't seem to do anything at all, Bopara so out of form totally deceived, skipped past him as he looked to play to leg...I think, stayed in the crease and paid the price. 76/5
