1.4 to DA Warner, Delhi Daredevils batsman c Dilli Ranji player b Dilli Ranji player. Second successive poor shot from Warner. Flashes at a wide length ball with no feet at all, and gets a thick edge to Kohli at second slip. Poor batting. 4/1
20.6 to PJ Hughes, bowled'im. Hughes has played on. This has been a difficult over, and ends with a soft dismissal. A length ball, Hughes is stuck on the crease, doesn't move across to cover the line of the ball, and defends a bit tentatively. The ball jags in, hits the inside edge and onto the stumps. 71/2
34185751.671768000
32.6 to EJM Cowan, and this is at least the third batsman this series that Ashwin has bowled around the legs on the sweep, and bowling from over the stumps. So this is no lucky dismissal. He has planned this. Tossed up outside leg, turning towards the stumps. Cowan is on the sweep, misses the line, and is bowled. On the other hand, it is pretty soft for Australia to keep on losing wickets in this manner. 106/3
40.4 to MS Wade, down the wicket to kick this away, but the extra bounce hits him high on the pad. Silly point catches it, the fielders go up in unison, Aleem Dar has no hesitation in giving him. I think Wade might be unlucky here. I haven't seen a clear edge. Perhaps the umpire was done in by how high this went, perhaps he was done in by the proximity of the bat to the pad. Oh it's the bat hitting the pad that has created the second noise. Wade can consider himself unlucky. 117/5
53.6 to MG Johnson, Johnson is stunned. He has seen a ghost. Actually he has just not picked a carrom ball. This is a length ball, on off, Johnson thinks he can leave it alone, but the ball turns against the angle and knocks the off stump over. He just stands there stunned for various seconds. Dhoni's celebratory reaction suggests this is a pre-discussed dismissal. For many seconds, Johnson thought it was a stumping appeal. Then he asks, "Bowled?". 136/7
81.2 to SPD Smith, sharp offbreak, sharp catch. Rahane's first Test contribution with no "sub" next to his name. This is quick, dipping, and Smith is nowhere near it in defence. The ball is allowed time to turn and hits the inside edge for a quick catch to Rahane at short leg. 189/8
102.1 to PM Siddle, bowled'im. Ashwin has a five-for. Sensational stats: nine five-fors in 16 Tests. Finally breaks through Siddle's defence. This is a natural variation from the wicket. An offbreak, on a length outside off, Siddle defends, but the ball doesn;t turn as much as the balls have been turning, and the off stump is flattened. 243/9
26.167512.861236300
112.1 to JL Pattinson, lovely bowling from Ojha. Reaches 100 Test wickets in his 22nd Test. The third-fastest Indian to 100 wickets, behind Prasanna and Kumble. On a length, Pattinson plays for turn, but the ball goes on with the arm, and takes the leading edge. Sharply taken by Kohli. Ojha looks towards the skies in relief. Fletcher is on his feet to applause. 262/10
2984021.371451000
38.5 to SR Watson, if you are an Australian captain, run away when you see Jadeja. Australian captains have batted seven times in this series, and Jadeja has got them out six times. Watson charges down this time, but the length is slightly shorter than his reach, and then Jadeja gets sharp turn from in front of leg to leave Watson stranded. 115/4
46.2 to GJ Maxwell, soft dismissal. Doesn't pick the shot well. This is nowhere in his swinging arc. Premeditates the loft. This is not full enough to go for the loft, and he ends up dragging it across the line, and gives mid-on a simple catch. 129/6

52.5 to MS Dhoni, pulled straight to midwicket, a bit squarer than the usual midwicket. Dhoni gets a short ball, which is a little slow, and he has deposited it straight down the throat of the man, and it's the captain himself. 210/6
1233813.16504000
40.4 to M Vijay, unplayable delivery. You can;t do anything with these. This has pitched short of a length, and hit a crack and exploded towards Vijay's head. Vijay has taken his eye off it, and throws his hands at it to avoid being hit. Off the glove it lobs to the keeper. 148/3
23.249474.029513000
25.1 to CA Pujara, timbah. Just like Siddle got out. Length ball, offbreak, outside off, Pujara does everything right in defence, but the ball doesn't turn enough and hits the top of off. 108/1
27.5 to V Kohli, given out lbw. Well bowled, but Kohli plays across the line too. Length ball, on middle and off, turns back in slightly. Kohli is stuck on the crease and looking to work this to leg. The ball misses the outside edge and hits him dead in front. 114/2
45.4 to AM Rahane, and Rahane's first, a little nervous, Test innings has ended in a soft manner. This is a length ball, middle and leg, turning down, he knows there is a backward short leg in place, but he looks to work this around the corner, and gloves this as catching practice. 165/4
47.5 to SR Tendulkar, that's dead plumb. Lyon has his man. Short of a length, on off, skids back in sharply, past the inside edge, hits him on the knee roll, plumb in front and on the back foot. 180/5
68.1 to R Ashwin, and he gets a wicket first ball. That's five for Lyon. Short of a length, outside off, turns in, hits him on the back foot, deep in the crease. Did it turn in enough? Can't say. However, Dar is quick to rule this out. 266/8
70.1 to I Sharma, bowled him! Lyon has six, a Test best. He tossed it up from round the wicket, pitching on off and spinning it back into the right-hander, finding the gap between bat and pad and hitting leg stump. Ishant was caught on the crease and closed the face as he tried to defend. 272/9
70.2 to PP Ojha, no he can't, lbw! Lyon finishes with seven. Terrific bowling. Lyon pitched the ball on middle and got it to straighten on the left-hander. The ball shot through low and hit Ojha on the front pad as he stayed back in his crease. Pretty plumb that was .... 272/10
401213.00192000
63.2 to RA Jadeja, Maxwell takes a wicket second ball, although Jadeja is unlucky here. This one is pitched on a length, outside off, and Jadeja pads up. However, it turns only slightly, just straightens, and hits him on the pad. This wouldn't have hit the stumps. 254/7

13.4 to PJ Hughes, lbw! But was that hitting the stumps? Ashwin drifted the ball into the left-hander from round the wicket, pitching on leg stump and ripping the offbreak sharply. Hughes came forward to defend and was beaten by the turn. The ball hit his back pad in front of off stump but I think the turn would have taken it past off stump. The umpire did not think so. 41/3
46.3 to PM Siddle, Siddle's been stumped! Clever bowling from Ashwin. Australia have been dismissed. Siddle charged Ashwin, and perhaps that was becoming predictable. Ashwin bowled the ball wide outside off stump, Siddle lunged at it but it was out of reach. Dhoni was ready and waiting too, collecting quickly and lunging back towards the stumps to break them with Siddle well out. 164/10
1625853.62688000
4.3 to GJ Maxwell, bowled him with a ripper! Jadeja pitches on a good length around middle stump, Maxwell moves forward to defend but isn't close enough to the pitch of the ball to cover for the turn that takes a faint outside edge and then hits off stump. Australia effectively 5 for 1. 15/1
6.1 to DA Warner, lbw! That is plumb. Jadeja pitched around off and the ball skidded on with the arm, Warner played back and tried to defend and was hit on the pad in front of middle. Jadeja was almost celebrating before the umpire raised the finger. Looks like Warner is getting a few send-offs.. 20/2
18.4 to EJM Cowan, lbw! Umpire Kettleborough takes a while but eventually gives Cowan, the steadiest of the batsmen today, his marching orders. Cowan played back to a ball that pitched outside off and spun into him sharply. It hit him in front of middle and that looked pretty out. Could this game finish today?. 53/5
32.1 to SPD Smith, bowled him! Smith did not offer a shot thinking the ball from round the wicket from Jadeja would turn away after pitching outside off stump. It did not. It went on with the arm and clipped off stump. That kept low too. 94/6
32.2 to MG Johnson, bowled him once again, Jadeja has his fifth! And this one is a ripper. The previous one did not turn, but this one did. He tossed it up across the left-hander from round the wicket, pitching the ball outside off stump, drawing Johnson into a tentative drive. There was a gap between bat and pad and the ball spun back through it to hit middle. 94/7
1121921.72532000
17.3 to SR Watson, bowled him, middle stump has taken a hit! Watson went back to pull a ball that pitched in line with the stumps and spun away. What undid him was the bounce. The ball kept low so it connected with the bottom edge and hit middle stump. 51/4
35.5 to MS Wade, this is terrific work from Dhoni, absolutely stunning. Wade has been caught behind and then stumped. There was so much happening. Wade came out of his crease to a flighted ball that pitching outside off stump and spun sharply into him. He tried to defend but the ball hit the inside edge, clipped the top of his front pad and bobbed up past the leg stump. Dhoni moved quickly to his right and lunged to catch the ball with one hand, and then swivelled to lunge to his left and break the stumps with the batsman well out. Wade's out caught behind. 122/8
201316.5052000
44.4 to JL Pattinson, bowled him! Ishant gives Pattinson a send off after flattening middle stump. Ishant went round the wicket, pitching the ball outside off stump and cut it into the left-hander. Pattinson played around the delivery and the ball hit the top of middle. 157/9

23.6 to V Kohli, lbw! Kohli has to go. He played forward and across the line to one that pitched in line and spun back to beat the bat and hit the pad. He was well forward. Would that have missed leg? It's a tight call, a fair one in the end.. 123/2
25.3 to SR Tendulkar, lbw! Tendulkar's fallen to Lyon for the second time in the game. The ball was fuller and Tendulkar came forward to turn the ball on the leg side. It hit him in front of middle after pitching just outside off and the umpire took his time before sending him on his way.. 127/3
1105424.90429000
3.3 to M Vijay, that is a bizarre shot on this pitch, Vijay's been bowled trying to reverse sweep. Maxwell pitched the ball on off from round the wicket and spun it back into Vijay, who then tried to reverse sweep. The ball beat the bottom edge of his bat, passed under his arse and hit the stumps. 19/1
26.4 to AM Rahane, caught at deep midwicket! India losing wickets in a hurry now. Rahane stepped out of his crease, wasn't to the pitch of the ball, but went through with his slog anyway. He mis-hit it in the air, and Lyon had to run a fair bit from the boundary to take the catch. A poor debut for Rahane, he's better than the shot he played today. 128/4
