17.5 to RN ten Doeschate, would you believe it, another high full toss, and wide outside off stump at that, and Ryan unluckily hits this straight to mid on. A rather quiet end to a swashbuckling innings from the Otago allrounder. 66 off 26 balls, fantastic effort! Replays however show the ball being delivered above the batsman's waist, so a tad unlucky for Tendo. 204/4

2.1 to HD Rutherford, and Paris strikes in his first ball in T20s, as he gets a length ball to come in and rap the pads. Perth go up for the appeal and the umpire does not hesitate to raise the finger. What a start from Paris. 9/1
2.2 to BB McCullum, full and straight and Paris makes it two in two. Another swinging delivery and is too good for McCullum, who is facing his first delivery. Massive wicket for Perth as they will feel truly on top with this scalp.. 9/2

9.5 to DC de Boorder, what a response from Voges! after being carted for a four and six off the two previous balls, he pitches one on a length, with just enough drift, as Derek plays all around this to find his stumps knocked over. Timely wicket for Perth who were starting to look out of this contest with the way these two were playing. 76/3

0.1 to LM Davis, short and wide and Butler cannot believe his luck as this goes straight to Rutherford at third man to remove Liam Davis off the first ball of the innings. Just what the Scorchers needed.... 0/1
0.6 to AC Agar, unfortunately it is one hit too many as Agar goes for another lofted shot, but ends up skying straight up, with Derek de Boorder, the keeper, positioning himself under to take a simple catch. Two down for Scorchers. 11/2
15.2 to AJ Turner, full on leg stump as Turner backs away to try and clear the long off boundary, but does not time it well enough. Good effort from Turner, but with 116 required off 28 balls, it was just delaying the inevitable. 127/5
311916.33113001
19.6 to TIF Triffitt, fuller length ball and Cartwright goes for it, but ends up holing out to long off, but the wicket doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.. 180/6

10.2 to AC Voges, back of a length, turning in, as Voges tries to clear deep midwicket, but only finds Butler, who is stationed near the boundary. Big wicket for Otago, and another nail in the coffin for Perth. 76/4
