Fall of wickets: 1-22 (Jesse Ryder, 3.6 ov), 2-32 (Martin Guptill, 7.4 ov), 3-153 (Kane Williamson, 32.6 ov), 4-171 (Ross Taylor, 36.2 ov), 5-213 (Brendon McCullum, 41.4 ov), 6-279 (Luke Ronchi, 47.5 ov), 7-284 (Nathan McCullum, 48.6 ov)

41.4 to BB McCullum, Dhoni takes a blinder behind the stumps as he is able to hold on to an edge off McCullum's bat while standing up to the stumps to deter the batsman from going down the pitch. Excellent work by the captain as Bhuvneshwar celebrates some success finally. 213/5
905546.11317110
3.6 to JD Ryder, and Shami gets him with a fuller one on a similar line as Ryder is in two minds to play this one, looking to once again go for the pick-up flick, but was never really in position for it to be executed properly. 22/1
7.4 to MJ Guptill, Shami shifts his line outside off and is rewarded as Guptill's patience wears thin. Looks to cut this away off the back foot, but ends up giving an outside edge which is caught at a comfortable height by Ashwin at first slip. Shami has now struck twice, and both New Zealand openers are back in the hut early on. 32/2
36.2 to LRPL Taylor, and Shami strikes straight away as he gets Taylor to play a tired shot, having a go at this one wide outside off which catches the outside edge on the way to Dhoni, who does well to snaffle it. Ends a fighting knock from Taylor. 171/4
48.6 to NL McCullum, fuller one going down the leg side as McCullum ends up hitting this straight back to Shami, who pockets it low around his knees to hold on to the chance. Even the cameraman had lost where that one had gone. 284/7
907218.00216220
47.5 to L Ronchi, back of a length outside off which has Ronchi playing late behind him, but I don't think he saw the fielder at backward point, as Kumar peddles back before taking a catch to his right to hold onto it. Ends a good supporting act from Ronchi, who came to the party at just the right time for his side. 279/6
906116.77224200
32.6 to KS Williamson, and all that good work comes undone as this is lofted straight to Rahane, who is stationed at silly mid-off. Williamson deserved to go for a centruy, but it looks like he had a lapse of concentration there. 153/3

Fall of wickets: 1-15 (Rohit Sharma, 5.2 ov), 2-73 (Shikhar Dhawan, 18.1 ov), 3-84 (Ajinkya Rahane, 20.6 ov), 4-129 (Suresh Raina, 28.2 ov), 5-224 (MS Dhoni, 42.3 ov), 6-224 (Ravindra Jadeja, 42.6 ov), 7-237 (Virat Kohli, 44.2 ov), 8-244 (Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 45.1 ov), 9-259 (Ravichandran Ashwin, 47.2 ov), 10-268 (Ishant Sharma, 48.4 ov)
BOWLINGOMRWECON0s4s6sWDNB

48.4 to I Sharma, and Southee bowls a lovely yorker on middle to get Ishant as he plays all around this one. 268/10
1006846.80318140
5.2 to RG Sharma, and his torturous vigil at the crease comes to an end as he is suckered into playing a hook shot which is hit straight to the man placed at deep fine leg, who takes a comfortable catch. Really silly shot from Rohit as he must have been aware of the fielder in the deep. 15/1
42.3 to MS Dhoni, and Mitchell strikes for New Zealand as he fires in a bouncer which Dhoni seems to be late on as he gets an edge on it before the ball loops over to Ronchi, who takes a good low catch. Dhoni walks off straightaway, and New Zealand's spirits are lifted in turn. 224/5
42.6 to RA Jadeja, short of a length and McClenaghan may have turned the tide of this match with this over as Jadeja feeds a simple outside edge to Ronchi, who probably can't believe how easy that turned out to be. Jadeja storms off after a three-ball duck. 224/6
44.2 to V Kohli, full toss outside off and out of all the deliveries to get him out, this turns out to be the one as he just lasers this to Ryder, who won't make the same mistake twice, as he takes this rather nonchalantly, while the rest of Napier erupts. The Napier crowd is good enough to stand up and applaud this sterling effort from the Delhi lad. 237/7
7.304015.33234030
28.2 to SK Raina, 140 kph, you just knew in the back of your mind that it was only a matter of time as Milne gets Raina to play the pull, but hits it a bit too fine as deep fine leg takes a good catch in the deep to remove the left-hander. So ends Raina's little stay the crease. 129/4
1005125.10312110
18.1 to S Dhawan, and Anderson has struck soon after the drinks break as he gets Dhawan to spoon a pull shot straight up over the leg side, with Ross Taylor getting under it to take the catch. Big blow for India as Dhawan as looking to build from this platform he had laid. 73/2
20.6 to AM Rahane, McCullum pulls out a corker of a catch to remove Rahane as he lofts this one in the air towards mid-off, with McCullum running to his right before launching at the correct moment to get his right hand under the ball before it grazes the grass. What a stunner from NZ, who continue to exhibit solid skills in the fielding department. 84/3
1005405.40261310
1.30916.0020010
47.2 to R Ashwin, Ashwin baited to try the stroke, and he goes for it, as he lifts Williamson in that direction again, but this time Southee is able to lurch forward to take an excellent diving catch. Nine down now and India will feel their chances have been nullified. 259/9
