33.3 to CA Pujara, Gone, and that's a poor decision from Ian Gould! bouncer, and that followed Pujara. He swayed away and then his hands went up to shield his face as it came in off the pitch. It popped to the keeper, and the umpire immediately gave it out. Pujara stood there for a while, and you can see why, because it went straight off his helmet, the right side of his grille. First Test wicket for Hazlewood.. 100/2
44.2 to V Kohli, gone! That was short outside off, not wide enough to cut. Kohli went for it and the extra bounce caused him to edge it thickly to the keeper. 137/3
85.4 to AM Rahane, that is the best ball of the Test match. Lovely length, caught Rahane on the crease, angling in towards off stump and curling away late. Rahane had to play at it, and it kissed his edge through to Haddin, who takes his fifth catch of the innings. 321/5
102.3 to R Ashwin, got him! That was a beautiful length outside off, a bit of movement away off the pitch. Ashwin's bat comes down at an angle as he looks for the drive, and Watson takes a waist-high catch at first slip. 385/7
104.2 to MS Dhoni, that's five on debut! A bit of inward movement from a good length. Dhoni was looking to leave, made the decision late, and the ball clipped his inside edge as the bat went up and Haddin takes a sixth catch. 394/8
1718304.886712020
611412.33281000
13.4 to S Dhawan, short and wide and Mitchell Marsh has his first Test wicket. Dhawan went after it, looking for the slash away from his body, and maybe there was some extra bounce to take his top edge through to the keeper. 56/1
25.4210534.099910100
71.5 to M Vijay, ... and it's paid off. Vijay comes down the track and goes for the big hit again. Was making room to go over mid-off and it went with the angle past his outside edge and Haddin makes the easy stumping. Hang on, they've had another look at it, and there was a thin edge through to the keeper, so it's a caught behind and not a stumping.. 261/4
107.6 to VR Aaron, that's a stunner at short leg! Classic offie's dismissal, loop and dip, turn and bounce from outside off as he pushes forward to defend. Pops up into the leg side, and the substitute fielder at short leg, Marnus Labuschagne, moves in in a flash and dives forward to take it with his right hand, inches off the ground. I'm not sure whether it was bat-pad or bat tucked behind pad and simply off the pad. There was a hotspot on the inside edge, but I'm not sure if it was the impact of bat on ball or bat on pad. Also, it looks like he may have grazed the ball on the ground after taking the catch.. 407/9
109.4 to UT Yadav, And that is that. Umesh goes for the slog-sweep from outside off, and he picks out Rogers at deep midwicket. 408/10
14.463912.65704000
91.2 to RG Sharma, got him, Smith's taken a beauty! Watson's struck with a good ball, but Rohit will wonder if he needed to play that shot. It was the wide outswinger, not quite up there for the drive. Rohit drove on the up, it curled away and took his outside edge, and Smith took a super catch diving low to his right at second slip. 328/6

56.6 to MR Marsh, bowled him! That is a super delivery! Marsh shouldered arms and it came back a long way to take the top of off stump. They're checking for no-ball but he's fine. The angle from wide of the crease exaggerated by movement off the pitch and the length probably wasn't as short as Marsh judged it to be. 232/5
87.1 to MG Johnson, a wicket! The tactic of bowling slanting it across Johnson has worked. He goes after it, looking to drive away from his body, and top-edges it through to Dhoni. They check for the no-ball, but Ishant's foot is fine. End of a game-changing innings. Wonder what impact it will have on his bowling now.. 395/7
87.6 to SPD Smith, chopped it on! Smith is out. SMITH. IS. OUT. First time in the series. Big angle in again, back of a length, and he looks to stab at it with an angled bat to run it down to third man and inside-edges it into his stumps. 398/8
26114525.5710223014
61.1 to BJ Haddin, got him, first ball after the break. The bouncer, and it's perfectly directed. India's plan works, as Haddin gets his hands in front of his face to shield himself and pops a simple catch to Pujara at short leg. 247/6
96.2 to NM Lyon, gone. It was a length ball on middle stump and Lyon looked to loft down the ground. Bounced up, hit him high on the bat, and he lobs a simple catch to mid-on. 454/9
25410134.0410412020
8.3 to DA Warner, gone! Warner looks to pull, but it wasn't quite short enough for that. He was cramped for room and tried to close his bat face and work it around to long leg, and it went off the top edge, looped up behind the stumps and first slip took a few steps back and pouched a simple catch. 47/1
24.5 to CJL Rogers, gone! And that is a very soft dismissal. It's shortish, angling down the leg side, and Rogers looks to tuck it away around the corner, and ends up gloving it down the leg side to the keeper. 121/3
46.5 to SE Marsh, taken! That was back of a length, angled across and it bounced extra. Marsh went at it with an angled bat and it flew over first slip's head and Ashwin timed his jump perfectly and grabbed it two-handed, over his head. 208/4
33.4412823.8014315300
19.4 to SR Watson, whatacatch! Watson came down the track and looked for the big hit over mid-on, gets too close to the pitch of it and hits it low to the right of the fielder, and Dhawan dives to his right to take an excellent low catch. 98/2
109.4 to MA Starc, and that, finally, is that. Tossed up outside leg and he goes for the big slog again, on one knee. He misses, and the ball turns to hit leg stump. 505/10

26.1 to V Kohli, bowled him! Kohli shuffled across and poked away from his body at a back-of-a-length ball angling away from him. It may have straightened off the pitch, and it took the inside edge of his angled bat and clattered into the stumps. They're checking for a no-ball, but he's okay. Back of his heel is behind the line.. 76/2
28.3 to AM Rahane, got him! Johnson is on fire! That rose dramatically from back of a length and Rahane was in no position to do anything about it. His hands went up instinctively and the ball popped up for a simple catch to backward point. They're checking for no-ball, and it's a very very close call. Only a tiny bit of his heel was behind the crease when he landed, but that's enough for Rahane to have to walk back. 86/3
28.5 to RG Sharma, and that's another. That was a back of a length ball outside off, a tiny bit of movement away to exaggerate the angle and extra bounce as well. Rohit wafts at it away from his body and edges it through to Haddin. Again they check for no-ball and again the heel is right on the edge.. 86/4
64.3 to UT Yadav, and that is that. Again, it's full and wide, again Yadav goes for the big drive, again it moves away off the pitch. This time he edges it through to Haddin. 224/10
1607424.62639001
29.2 to MS Dhoni, got him! Dhoni looked to do his shuffle across and out of the crease and Hazlewood bowled it right up, on an off-stump line. Dhoni desperately looked to play around his pad, and couldn't connect. Finger went up immediately for the lbw appeal. It seemed to hit him in line, but would it have hit the stumps or gone over? He was quite a long way down the track. Hawkeye says it's hitting top of middle. 87/5
44.4 to CA Pujara, got him! That was short outside off, extra bounce too. Pujara pushes at it, and it hits high on his bat, near the handle, and pops up to Lyon at point. It was angled in towards him and that made him play at it. 143/7
812723.37343000
10.3 to M Vijay, bowled him! The line did him there. It was angling across, and so close to off stump that Vijay was in two minds about whether to play or leave. By the time he chose the latter option and raised his bat to leave, it had only gone up far enough for the ball to strike it and cannon onto the stumps. 41/1
36.4 to R Ashwin, gone. That one came back in just a touch from outside off, back of a length. Ashwin was shuffling across, looking to defend. His bat came down at an angle and was pointing to wide mid-on rather than straight back down the pitch. Ball comes in, takes his inside edge, and Haddin takes a simple catch. I'm not sure it was the inside edge. May have been just his back thigh. No HotSpot mark on the inside edge. Snicko seemed to react when it passed his thigh. 117/6
1362702.07653000
1013323.30431200
22.6 to S Dhawan, got him! Lyon's done it. It was angling in towards middle and it straightened a little. Pitched off, hitting middle or thereabouts. Dhawan went for the lap sweep and missed, maybe not the right line to be sweeping, and it struck him on the front pad in front of middle. Loud appeal from Haddin and it's given.. 71/1
59.1 to S Dhawan, got him! 203/8
61.2 to VR Aaron, gone. Another wicket for Lyon. Aaron comes down the track and goes for another big slog. This is the classic offspinner's response to being slogged by a tail-ender. Tosses it up slower and wider and he top-edges that and it loops up for a simple catch at backward point. 211/9

4.1 to DA Warner, got him, that is an absolute beauty. Angled in, straightens from a fourth-stump line. Warner hopes across to defend, he's squared up and Dhoni pouches an easy catch off the outside edge. 18/1
6.3 to SR Watson, gone! Ishant is on fire! That was a well-directed bouncer, at head height. Watson goes for the hook and top-edges it high in the air, loops to Dhoni, who didn't have to move at all. Checking for no-ball, and it's right on the edge - exactly like a couple of Johnson's wickets in the morning. 22/2
16.2 to CJL Rogers, taken! And very well at that. It's short and wide, and there's a bit of extra bounce on it. Goes hard at the slash and the edge went very quickly towards Dhawan at third slip and he took it with both hands over his head. 85/3
904625.11315000
20.4 to SE Marsh, down the leg side again and it's given! Dhoni appealed as soon as it was in his gloves, and the finger went up immediately. Looked to nudge it off the hips and HotSpot shows a tiny mark as it passes the glove. 114/4
22.1 to BJ Haddin, and it's 122 for 6. The bouncer gets Haddin again. He goes for the hook and can't control it, hits it uppishly, down Kohli's throat coming in from deep backward square leg. 122/6
