Fall of wickets: 1-44 (Stiaan van Zyl, 17.3 ov), 2-117 (Dean Elgar, 41.2 ov), 3-127 (Hashim Amla, 44.3 ov), 4-161 (AB de Villiers, 55.5 ov), 5-185 (Faf du Plessis, 62.5 ov), 6-212 (Temba Bavuma, 70.5 ov), 7-225 (Dane Vilas, 74.4 ov), 8-281 (Chris Morris, 92.6 ov), 9-281 (Kagiso Rabada, 93.3 ov), 10-313 (Morne Morkel, 99.3 ov)
BOWLINGOMRWECON0s4s6sWDNB
25.256012.361227000
93.3 to K Rabada, nibble off the deck, Rabada follows it, Bairstow snaffles his sixth, and Anderson celebrates with the joy and relief of a strike bowler who has toiled for 22 overs without reward. 281/9
2258223.729614010
74.4 to DJ Vilas, no need to delve after all! A horrid wipe of a pull shot, spiralling high and fast down to Moeen Ali at deep backward square. A well-judged catch as the ball tumbles out of the thin Highveld air. Another South Africa batsman does the hard work then gives it away .... 225/7
92.6 to CH Morris, that's the one. Full, bending away, Morris drives a touch too loosely, snicks an almost imperceptible edge, and Bairstow has a five-for behind the stumps!. 281/8
1845022.77867002
44.3 to HM Amla, that is too good from Finn! Even Hashim Amla has no answer to an absolute ripper that angles in, nips away, flicks the edge, and had it not done so, it would have taken out his off pole instead. Completely unplayable and what a breakthrough. 127/3
62.5 to F du Plessis, my goodness, what's he done! Clipped it straight to deep square! It's a short of a length delivery, angling into his hip, he deliberately flicks it on the up and couldn't have picked out the man better. Du Plessis didn't even try to keep that down. Did he not spot the deep fielder?. 185/5
1645013.12765200
41.2 to D Elgar, he's done it! A fiddle outside off and a thin edge. Was a reasonably short delivery, straightened off the surface which makes Elgar play away from his body.. 117/2
18.115332.91837000
17.3 to S van Zyl, Stokes has the breakthrough and it's a Botham-esque rank-bad-ball breakthrough! Another innocuous loosener, van Zyl responds with a flaccid half-formed pull, a spiralling top-edge and Bairstow jogs up to smother the offering in his mitts! Stokes shakes his head in bemusement. I think he's still half-asleep to be honest .... 44/1
55.5 to AB de Villiers, huge moment! Stokes has done it again. De Villiers gloves a pull down the leg side. A short delivery, angling down the leg side, de Villiers tries to help it on its way to fine leg but only gets a very thin graze through to Bairstow - his fourth catch of the day.. 161/4
99.3 to M Morkel, and Stokes has struck first ball! You have got to laugh, although Anderson will not see the funny side of that. A wafty drive to a ball angled in from round the wicket, and Cook pockets a neat chance in front of his nose. 313/10

BOWLINGOMRWECON0s4s6sWDNB

64.3 to MM Ali, stunning catch from Vilas! Outside off, Moeen pushed loosely from the crease, found a fat inside edge, and the keeper was sufficiently alert to transfer his weight, lean across to the right and snaffle the offering in one hand!. 279/7
23.157853.361087131
3.5 to AD Hales, there's the first wicket! Rabada gets it spot on. Full at off stump, Hales is driving without footwork and the thick edge presents a nice catch for second slip. Good bowling, iffy shot. 10/1
25.1 to NRD Compton, edged and gone this time! Outside off, drawing the stroke where Compton might otherwise have left it alone. A fractional hint of movement away from the bat lured the shot, and that is a vital blow. 74/3
54.6 to JE Root, a massive wafty drive to a fine seaming delivery that nips back off the pitch, and Root has been given out, caught behind off the inside-edge! He has immediately reviewed! But he's not going to get away with that, there's a clear snick on Snicko, and England's centurion is on his way back!. 242/6
71.5 to SCJ Broad, he gets this one right! Back on target, lovely delivery. Full and straight, Broad misses it - from very deep in the crease, maybe expecting a short one - and the off stump gets rattled. They check the no-ball, but's just okay. 309/8
76.1 to JM Bairstow, five for Rabada! Bairstow tries to go over the leg side, pulls at a short-of-a-length delivery, gets it high off the bat and it's a simple catch for midwicket. 323/10
2017633.80859000
30.1 to JWA Taylor, and strikes first ball! Caught at short leg. Superb from Bavuma. Back of a length from Morkel, Taylor trying to get forward and a big inside edge flies off the pad towards Bavuma. It's above his head, it thrusts his right hand up and parries the ball then settles under the rebound. He is quite deep in that position, and it worked perfectly. 91/4
45.6 to BA Stokes, Morkel strikes back! An attempted clip to leg, a leading edge, and Morkel runs through in his followthrough to snaffle the looping chance! A heart-stopping check for the no-ball, but his foot was almost entirely behind the line this time. 202/5
73.6 to ST Finn, huge appeal appeal for caught behind, given not out and South Africa review straightaway. A glove, maybe? A well-directed short ball around off stump. Close to shoulder of the bat and glove. It might have clipped the thumb of the glove. And Ultraedge has confirmed the flick of the glove. Good review, excellent bowling. Finn couldn't quite get out of the line quickly enough.. 311/9
1507915.265612002
10.1 to AN Cook, wicket first ball! What a start. Cook is caught down the leg side again. Viljoen probably didn't plan that delivery, but South Africa have targeted him there. Went to glance it away and it was well taken by Vilas. Unconfined joy for Viljoen. What a moment.. 22/2

30.4 to GC Viljoen, stone dead! Full and straight, Viljoen misses his flick across the line and it's given. He's reviewed but that is just out. Guess he may as well check. Whacking middle and leg. Full, straightened nicely to beat the outside edge. Hit low on the front pad. In fact, it's middle of middle.. 77/9
12.161761.39653000
7.5 to D Elgar, beauty! Elgar nibbles at one that is slightly wider than he might have expected to follow, but he was sucked in by the line, the bounce and the movement. Bairstow reaches across first slip to gather his seventh of the match. A big scalp!. 23/1
11.6 to S van Zyl, gone! And that has been telegraphed I'm afraid! Drawn forward by a fractionally fuller delivery, but still that sharp lift and movement to turn a comfortable forward defence into a spliced edge to gully!. 28/2
13.5 to AB de Villiers, de Villiers joins the procession, and Broad has three! What a massive scalp that is. Thumpingly good length, just outside off, jagging back sharply to graze the inside edge as AB is committed to coming forward. Bairstow, that man again, has an eighth catch, and South Africa have a major hole in their innings!. 30/3
15.3 to HM Amla, on the pads, belted towards Taylor's toes, and short leg has clung onto a blinder! My goodness me, what a take that was. Amla timed the pants off a leg glance, it was heading down all the way, but Taylor stayed low (his forte, some might say), actually got himself into a long barrier, and pocketed it millimetres from the turf!. 31/4
17.5 to T Bavuma, cripes! Bavuma has over-slept and been bowled, and Broad has five! Another short ball from Broad, but it didn't get up as much as anticipated. A faint brush of glove, a deflection onto off stump, and South Africa are in utter tatters!. 35/5
33.1 to F du Plessis, he's ended it with a stunning return catch! That man Broad, again. Du Plessis comes down the pitch, tries something aggressive, gets an inside edge into his pads which loops back down the pitch and Broad does brilliantly to scramble to it from his followthrough - one-handed, low to his right. Had to go against his natural run-off. 83/10
812423.00384000
22.1 to CH Morris, massive inswing, through the gate, and bowled all ends up! Stunning allround hostility from a rampant England attack, and there is no place to hide for any of South Africa's stunned cricketers! The perfect line and length, and Stokes is making it talk in tongues!. 46/7
26.6 to K Rabada, edged, and there's the eighth of the innings, and Bairstow's ninth! Textbook outswinger from round the wicket to the left-hander, lured him in, bended away, a regulation push on off stump becomes a grazed edge and South Africa are almost down and out. 67/8
301414.66111001
21.2 to DJ Vilas, gone! Another blinder at short leg from Taylor, and Finn strikes in his first over! Another firm steer off the hip, Taylor watches it like a hawk all the way off the middle of the bat, reaches out with his right hand, falls into position, and snaffles the chance before disappearing on a lap of honour, pursued by a flock of jubilant team-mates!. 45/6

21.2 to AN Cook, and now he's gone as well...leaning forward, regulation edge to the keeper. Been a decent spell from Morris. England making these last few runs hard work. 71/3
3.411022.72161000
16.6 to AD Hales, given lbw on the sweep. He reviews. Quite a long way forward but that looks pretty straight. Umpire's call on impact, and hitting the stumps. 64/1
18.4 to NRD Compton, what a catch! Compton trying to finish it in the grand manner...down the pitch, got too far underneath it but Morkel did brilliantly as he circled underneath it running back from mid-on. Looked like he'd got it a wrong, but at full stretch he held on. 68/2
