6.2 to AD Hales, well, well, what's happened here? Hales clips hard and fast, straight into the hands of Yasir at square leg! Hales cannot believe it, he is standing his ground, presumably hoping that the ball has not carried, but the umpire's soft signal is out ... it's been scooped inches from the turf, and well, the first camera angle is beyond useless. A long delay while a better replay is foraged for. But it all happened so quickly that none of the cameramen could keep up with it, so the onfield decision stands!. 23/1
52.3 to JM Bairstow, outside off, nips back, a loose drive from Bairstow, made to look more loose by the late movement, and that's a fine take from Sarfraz, moving to his left to snaffle the inside edge! A roar of triumph from Amir, who has finally got one to stick in his fielder's mitts!. 203/6
20.416853.29938010
16.5 to AN Cook, slightly short, Cook goes to pull... and demolishes his off stump! Sohail looks to the skies, a mixture of thanks and relief because that was essentially a long-hop waiting to be put away. Silence descends on The Oval as Alastair Cook has to abandon his Sehwagian quest to dominate and heads for the dressing room. Iftikhar will also be pretty chuffed that his drop didn't cost too much. 69/2
66.4 to CR Woakes, dangles the ball outside off, and Woakes takes the bait! An audible nick, and up goes the finger. But Woakes isn't convinced, and he surely knows ... there's nothing on HotSpot, but Snicko doesn't lie. Off he goes!. 282/7
66.6 to SCJ Broad, full and straight, pinned in front of the stumps, Oxenford's finger goes up! Did Broad get an inside edge on that? He decides to review anyway... but although the ball struck him only just in line with leg stump and was swinging further, Hawk-Eye deems it would have shaved the timber and the on-field call is upheld! Sohail has two in three balls and Broad's dismal summer with the bat continues. 282/8
70.4 to ST Finn, bowled him, top of off! Big gap between bat and pad as Finn tries to punch down the ground, Sohail brings the ball back just a touch and it's enough to shiver the timbers, a fourth wicket for him and England are nine down. 296/9
76.4 to MM Ali, dug in short, takes on the hook again... but sends a top edge high to deep square leg! England have been rolled but not before buckling their swash to score 328. Second five-for in a row for Sohail but the crowd directs most of its appreciation towards Moeen, whose hundred saved his side from trouble. 328/10
2009334.657813007
17.4 to JE Root, shortish, Root pushes at this one - and tickles through to the keeper! Pakistan have a third wicket and England are beginning to look a little green around the gills, having chosen to bat on a grassy strip. Root undone by the pace and also his habit of punching off the back foot, Wahab haring off in celebration of the wicket, having seen that catch go down in his previous over. 73/3
19.1 to JM Vince, another one gone, Vince edging a snorter! Brilliant line from Wahab, it was short but Vince could feel it coming at him, the missile locked on, then it just left him enough to flick the edge, a 90mph brute of a ball and England are rocking here. 74/4
27.2 to GS Ballance, edged, into the hands of a tumbling Azhar at third slip ... a very low-key celebration, but Ballance is gone! It was a peculiar catch, actually, bouncing up off his wrists as it died on the fielder, then more or less landing on his chest as he tumbled forward! This time Wahab does have his third, and Pakistan are in utter command!. 110/5

142.1 to Younis Khan, full and hit on the pads, have they got him? Erasmus's finger goes up but Younis reviews - England aren't going to have it easy, no sir. In fact, I reckon that's missing leg... No bat involved as he played across the line, he was back in the crease, struck in front of leg stump... and it's just clipping! Younis has been defeated at last, a very marginal decision but it stays with the umpire's call, a very full offcutter from Anderson and he gets his man. Younis doesn't want to go but he walks off to a huge ovation, richly deserved after a magnificent knock. 531/9
2959913.4113317011
1.5 to Sami Aslam, attacking the stumps, straightening a touch and thumps him on the pads, Aslam playing around it... up goes Oxenford's finger, but Aslam reviews! Don't think he hit it, so the question is whether the ball would have gone on with the angle to hit the woodwork; yep, no bat, so here we go with Hawk-Eye: which has the ball clattering into the top of middle and leg! Sami has to pack his bags, Broad has broken through. 3/1
30111033.6612414020
17.3 to Yasir Shah, feels for it outside off, takes the edge and flies to second slip - who grabs it at the second attempt! Root was the catcher, it was quite a high chance, around chest height, and popped out of his hands initially but he plucked it one-handed to see off Yasir and give Finn a wicket in his second over. 52/2
75.3 to Asad Shafiq, short, in the slot for a pull, and Broad has snaffled a stunner at short midwicket! Going away to his left, gets both hands to it, and that is the end of a superb innings. 277/4
145.6 to Sohail Khan, chipped off the toes... and grabbed at midwicket! Finn finishes it off, Sohail clipping to a diving Broad, who takes another good catch, meaning Pakistan walk off with 542 on the board and a lead of 214 - and that will be tea. 542/10
3088232.7314514000
84.1 to Misbah-ul-Haq, swings away, thick-edged - and taken at gully! Hales holds on to this one and Woakes winkles out Misbah, a big wicket and his 24th in the series, which eclipses Anderson's England record against Pakistan. Bit of extra bounce, Woakes gets the new ball to talk and silences the Pakistan captain. 316/5
84.5 to Iftikhar Ahmed, dug in short, Iftikhar shanks a pull... and Moeen scampers back from mid-on to hold! Woakes has another, only a brief stay for Ifti in his first Test innings, tried to take the ball from outside off, didn't look a convincing shot and it pretty much went straight up back over the bowler's head. 320/6
110.1 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, edged and taken, brilliant catch from Bairstow! Superb delivery, just nibbled away, went like a rocket and YJB thrust out an instinctive right paw, where the ball stuck... That's what the hard work is for, it's tough on Sarfraz, who again falls short of a fifty but he's played nicely and helped swell the lead for 90 minutes of the morning session. 397/7
23112825.568410701
39.2 to Azhar Ali, now then, England are taking a review. A huge shout as Azhar drops to his knees on the sweep. Are they appealing for lbw? No, because that has come straight off the glove... and lo and behold, Bairstow has snaffled a looping chance!. 127/3
121.4 to Wahab Riaz, bowled him? Through the gate as Wahab played down the wrong line. But hang on, Younis is telling him to stay put, and the umpires are taking a second look. It's not a no-ball, but actually, it is a stumping! Bairstow was in place as Wahab toppled forward and the ball rebounded into his stumps. That all happened in a flash. 434/8

41.4 to GS Ballance, gottim! Tremendous stuff from Sohail! A good lifter, on off stump and just shaping away from the left-hander's firm-handed back-foot punch, and Pakistan have their incision! There was no obligation to play at that one, except that it was always there in his eyeline, a victory for line and length! Angus Fraser would be proud. 128/5
11.214824.23465005
9.2 to AN Cook, gone this time! That is the massive breakthrough! Wahab's fiery extra pace creates lift and late movement that Amir and Sohail haven't been able to match. Cook fences outside off, drawn into the stroke by force majeure, and that's a very sharp take by Iftikhar at first slip - the ball was almost behind him as he grabbed it. 14/1
65.6 to JM Bairstow, gone! On the front foot, Bairstow looking to reassert himself after that calamity, and he's pumped it straight to extra cover! Wasn't quite there for the stroke, but it took a fine catch to tidy it up, stooping low to his left, and though they check the front foot for a no-ball, that is all fine and dandy. 209/8
2947152.441316100
17.6 to AD Hales, skidding on, through the batsman, Yasir implores for the decision... and given! Was there any bat involved? Must have been close if not but Hales reviews, so we will go to Joel Wilson and the DRS. He's played all around this, think he's a goner: yep, Hawk-Eye confirms it would have hit the top of middle stump, a wasted review and Hales plods off for another unsatisfactory score. 49/2
19.4 to JM Vince, got him, chipped to cover! Gave this one a bit more air, drew him forward into a off-balance drive and Vince dollies it the the off-side catcher, Yasir wheels away in celebration... England are slumping to spin again. 55/3
25.3 to JE Root, pushed on with the arm, raps the pads with Root deep in the crease... up goes the finger! He elects to review but I suspect this is wishful thinking. This one didn't turn, Root was right back on his stumps, struck him in line and Hawk-Eye has it going on to poke leg stump right in the eye. Yasir has another, England deep in the mire!. 74/4
56.5 to MM Ali, pushed through out the front of the hand, takes the edge... and Sarfraz grabs it at the second attempt! Yasir makes the breakthrough, a quicker delivery, I think, Moeen fenced at it on the back foot and there was a big deflection, didn't go straight into the gloves but Sarfraz was alert to snap it up at the second attempt. Moeen turned to walk straight away and Pakistan take a big step closer to victory. 193/6
72.2 to SCJ Broad, tossed up outside off, Broad tries to reverse-sweep... and loops it up straight to slip! He seems to be reluctant to walk off but England don't have any reviews left. Replays suggest it pretty much went straight off the middle of the bat - up near the splice - to Younis and Pakistan are one wicket away. 221/9
2.21110.42130000
79.2 to JM Anderson, you can unfasten them and jump around, Ifti's done it! Anderson misses with another yahoo across the line, the angle is much better for the offspinner and it strikes him on the body in line with off, Oxenford is happy and up goes the finger. England have no reviews anyway but Hawk-Eye says it would have flipped off the bails, so a good decision - all of which means Pakistan need 40 to win and square the series 2-2. 253/10
