78.6 to DW Steyn, bowled! The first delivery that is straight from Southee and it goes past Steyn. Excellent delivery, not much Steyn could do actually. Pitched on a good length on off and middle, and Steyn has to play but the ball swerves back in late and goes through bat and Steyn's body which is far away from the ball. Clips the top of leg stump. Sensational delivery, aided and abetted by Steyn's leg-side technique. 236/9

13.6 to SC Cook, gone! Cook has to play and gets a thin edge. How do you play that? Just like how Cook did. Fuller than a good length on off - the ball moves away just late enough. It's on off, Cook has to play but that late, late shape is responsible for Cook getting a thin edge to Watling who takes it chest height. The ball of the morning accounts for Cook, absolutely unplayable.. 33/1
34.5 to HM Amla, Amla falls. Big, big, big wicket for NZ. Fullish delivery on off and middle, the ball swings back late and takes the inside edge. Amla fishes at that and gets an inside edge onto his back thigh. The ball lobs up for Watling. That late shape back in responsible for another wicket. 106/4
87.4 to DL Piedt, got 'im. Full and wide outside off, 140 kph. Was leaving these nicely earlier but has a leaden-footed waft at that away from his body. Gets a thick outside edge which is easily taken by Watling. A handy effort from Rabada and Piedt. 263/10

16.6 to D Elgar, edged and gone. Another unnecessary drive. Well bowled, Bracewell. Full delivery outside off, Elgar drives at it with hard hands, just like he did previously in the over. This time, the ball holds its line to take Elgar's outside edge. Comfortable take for second slip, near his midriff. A wicket of perseverance. Poor shot from Elgar. 41/2

31.3 to JP Duminy, gone! Duminy falls into the trap. Poor stroke and NZ strike after the interval. Short delivery on off, Duminy was probably waiting for that but the ball doesn't get up. More towards his shoulders as Duminy tries to pull. May have got under that, or beaten by pace but the top-edge is skied straight to fine leg. Boult wanders around and settles under it nicely. Did not bother rolling his wrists. Duminy has thrown away a strong chance. 102/3
57.3 to F du Plessis, my word. Williamson has nipped out Faf. What an effort that is. Unbelievable stuff from the captain. Full outside off, the ball is moving away. Faf thinks the stroke is safe because of that length, but it isn't actually as full as the thinks. Enough room for the ball to move away. The thick outside edge flies away to Williamson's right at gully. In fact, it is almost behind him, but he sticks out his right hand and clings onto an absolute stunner. Akin to Stokes in the Ashes.. 160/5
74.4 to VD Philander, Philander chips his wicket away. Back of a length outside off, Philander wanted to go through the leg side but the ball was way too wide outside off. He tried to bail out of his shot, and tried to go over the off side with a lofted bunt. All he does is lobs the ball to mid-off. A soft dismissal. Not what SA wanted. 228/8

67.4 to Q de Kock, one too many? Most definitely. Tossed up outside off, Qdk runs to the pitch again, but doesn't quite get there because it is a little wider. Wanted to go over mid-off but the ball skews off the outside half, skied up towards mid-off, who scurries across to his right and takes a quality catch. An international-level catch, made it look easy. De Kock has thrown it away, but a handy contribution.. 208/6
67.6 to T Bavuma, given. Umpire Gould gives Bavuma but he wants to review. A flat delivery on off, Bavuma brings out a premeditated sweep but misses it. Maybe a tad too full to play stroke. No bat on that. Strikes Bavuma in front of off. A hint of spin, but surely not enough to miss the stumps? UltraEdge shows a spike when the ball passes the glove but that is bat hitting the ground. Umpire's call on impact and that should be it. SA lose another. 'Bang, bang' go NZ. SA in trouble now.. 208/7

6.2 to TWM Latham, 136 kph. Awesome bowling and Latham goes. Steyn is pumped. Thumps the air in celebration. Fullish outside off, the ball moves away late. Has to play really because of that length, and the previous instances of swing both ways, Latham fishes and gets a thick outside edge, which carries to Amla at first slip who bends his back, allows the ball to come to him and then takes the catch reverse-cupped. Just like in the first Test against England last year, Steyn has a left-handed opener caught in the slips with a gem. Excellent catching technique too.. 7/1
8.6 to MJ Guptill, gone! Steyn strikes again. Started celebrating even before the umpire's decision. Just sensational bowling. Pushed square leg back before this ball, but he pitches this up - on off and middle. It moves back in from a full length, just enough nip to beat the inside edge but not enough to miss the leg stump. Guptill is struck right in front of middle and no hesitation for umpire Illingworth. Plumb. What a spell of bowling.. 12/2
