0.1 to JJ Roy, starts over the wicket, ambles in and pitches it up outside off... and Roy carves it to backward point first ball! Roy maybe thought it would come back in at him, so played fractionally inside, thick, low edge went flying straight into the safe hands of Guptill. Well, England's plan was to be more attacking.... 0/1
7.2 to AD Hales, short ball, Hales tries to pull from outside off, it goes high but not far... and Henry takes the catch running back at backward square leg! One ball after the 50 partnership, Hales gets a bit too flap happy and falls for a run-a-ball 20. Still looking for a substantial innings in ODI cricket. Decent surprise bouncer from Boult. 50/2
24.3 to JE Root, runs down the wicket, leans out to drive outside off and nicks to the keeper! The change works and Boult brings to an end a superb innings from Root. Leaning across to meet this, wasn't in control and got a thin edge behind. 180/4
28.2 to BA Stokes, short outside off, Stokes goes to pull and drags it into his stumps. He was early on the shot and got a thick bottom edge that deflected into his leg and then the off stump, Stokes is furious with himself and charges off the ground. Boult strikes again, he now has four, but this is a complete bonus. 195/5

22.5 to EJG Morgan, full length angled in, Morgan is caught on the crease and misses, an appeal for lbw and given out! by umpire Gough. Morgan considers before going for a review but this looks dead. He hasn't hit it, and Hawk Eye has three reds so a good decision from the umpire and McClenaghan makes the breakthrough. Sliding one into Morgan who slightly fell over the stroke looking to clip to leg, caught below the knee roll bang in front. 171/3
47.3 to JC Buttler, back of a length, Buttler whacks it leg side but doesn't get this at all and chips a catch to square leg who takes it well tumbling back. Having to reach outside off and above his head here, couldn't control the stroke at all and got a top edge that looped to the fielder. What an innings from Buttler, very very special. 379/7
5057211.40103510
49.2 to CJ Jordan, swing at a length ball just outside off, gets a thick outside edge that loops to short third man. Reaching for it outside off, it comes off a whirl of a top edge straight to the fielder, they did manage to cross. 394/8
49.3 to AU Rashid, slower ball on the stumps, aims leg side but whacks it straight to deep midwicket. A superb effort from Rashid too here but picks out the deep fielder, just didn't get the elevation. 394/9
806418.00195300
29.6 to SW Billings, goes to flick leg side and misses, struck on the pad and there's a loud cry for lbw, Bruce Oxenford says not out but New Zealand want a review and fair enough because it looked close. Has it straightened enough? Oxenford might have though it was sliding down leg, no bat involved and Hawk Eye has this going on to strike middle stump, absolutely stone dead, the technology does it's job and England lose another. A first wicket from Mitchell Santner on debut. 202/6

0.6 to BB McCullum, down the track again, swing and a miss and bowled him! Finn roars his delight as he pegs back the off stump, revenge? Perhaps not quite but a fillip for Finn nevertheless, that is a huge breakthrough so early in the chase. A wild swing from McCullum aiming down the ground, he misses and the off stump went back. 11/1
6.3 to MJ Guptill, steps to leg again, goes to swing another away and nicks behind! Quite a wild swipe and a thin edge to Buttler. Guptill got away with it previously but not now. Gave himself some room again to try and smash another length ball away, this from off stump, but here could only give a catch to Buttler and England have now removed both dangermen. 52/2
28.2 to LRPL Taylor, full and straight again, Taylor plays across the line, misses... and this time Finn's appeal succeeds! Taylor review, which he has to as the last recognised batsman, but loses a tight call on the DRS, with Hawk-Eye saying it would have just clipped leg. So England get the man they wanted, NZ seven down now and in need of miracles (plural). 190/7
30.6 to NL McCullum, fuller length, pushed at just outside off and edged to second slip! A dolly, especially for Jordan, although he did actually slip this slightly but held on either way. Another for Finn who has enjoyed a good day. Goes fuller, bringing the batsman forward, he was a touch late on the stroke and got a thick edge straight to the fielder at waist height. 198/9
5.103316.38196000
31.1 to MJ McClenaghan, full just outside off, McClenaghan swings at this and gets it in the air out to deep midwicket who takes the catch! And England have wrapped up a mighty victory here. Hiding to nothing for McClenaghan, taking a swing, getting it off a thickish inside edge and Hales took the catch a yard in from the rope in front of a joyous Eric Hollies Stand. 198/10
503707.40144120
1005545.50295010
13.5 to KS Williamson, down the track again and Williamson tries to swing this down the ground, gets it low off the bat and high in the sky, nowhere near enough bat on it and Joe Root sprints in from long-off to take the catch and Rashid strikes. Mentioned it was a good chance for him with the batsman having to force the pace and so it has proved with Williamson holing out here. 94/3
27.5 to MJ Santner, googly, tossed up outside off, goes back to cut - and edges to slip! Rashid has got him, smartly taken by Jordan as he anticipated the shot and went to his left. Slightly laborious innings from the debutant Santner. 185/5
27.6 to L Ronchi, although not when he's in the hutch, Rashid gets his third, bowled first ball! Another googly, right on the spot as Ronchi tried to slog-sweep his first ball, there was a big gap for the ball to go through and it thudded into off stump. 185/6
29.5 to MJ Henry, googly into the front pad, beats the inside edge, appeal for lbw and given out! No reviews left so Henry has to go and another change-up has worked. This has spun quite a long way but is perhaps going down? Either way the umpire gave it out so bye bye Henry and New Zealand are sinking quickly here. Hawk Eye indeed had that sliding down leg. 195/8
