0.2 to LMP Simmons, Simmons debut ends in a tragedy. He lasted just two balls. He was tempted by a good-length delivery in that channel, poked at it with an open-face of the bat and the resultant edge was picked up by Akmal low to his right.. 0/1
49.5 to JE Taylor, all over! full and on the middle and off stump line - Taylor walks across the stumps in an effort to scoop it down to fine leg but misses the target by miles and the ball crashes into the stumps. Done and dusted in 49.5 overs - well done Pakistan. 151/10

1.6 to CH Gayle, What a start for Pakistan! Chris Gayle falls. Big wicket. Full and it swung in a bit, Gayle pushes at it defensively, but ends up pushing the bat inside the line, and the outside edge flew low to the left of Inzamam at first slip and he gobbled it up. It was a outswinger to the right-hand bat, and Gayle spotted it and played it accordingly but this one didn't swing in so much as he anticipated and hence he ended up playing in the wrong line.. 2/2
48.5 to RS Morton, gone! well disguised slower delivery. Morton never picked it up - swipes across the line, ball clips the top edge and spoons up towards midwicket. Younis Khan nicely settles under it - West Indies nine down. 150/9

19.5 to D Ganga, Gotcha! Serves up one full and on the leg and middle, it shapes away a touch and Ganga ends up trying to whip across the line. He gets a leading edge which takes the ball straight into the waiting palms of Inzy at cover.. 48/3

1022022.00440000
29.3 to DR Smith, Rehman opens his account in ODIs and West Indies sink further - tossed up delivery, on the stumps and it straightened after hitting the track - Smith playing for the spin pushes forward to defend and the ball hits the pad in line with the stumps. The only doubt was if the ball hit the pad first. Aleem Dar there was quicker than a trigger-happy American cop.. 76/5
31.3 to MN Samuels, gone! slightly short and turning away. Samuels goes back and slashes hard at it, ball clips the outside edge, ricochets off the keeper's glove and goes straight to Younis Khan at first slip. 79/6

0.1 to Mohammad Hafeez, Taylor strikes! Fabulous outswinger. Full and inviting a drive, Hafeez obliged but the ball left him late and took with it , a bit of outside edge.. 1/1
26.3 to Younis Khan, and he throws his wicket away - short ball, excellent surprise delivery. Younis Khan goes for the pull and the top edge spoons up behind the stumps on the leg side - Ramdin calls for it and nicely settles under it. That's the breakthrough they were looking for - game on here.. 80/4
46.5 to Abdur Rehman, good length delivery, pitched outside the off stump and slanting across - Rehman looking to defend it on the back-foot ends up with a thick edge. Ramdin dives across to his left and takes a good catch.. 147/8
1032312.30440021
28.4 to Shoaib Malik, and gone! short of a good length delivery, pitched outside the off stump and angling across. Malik searches for it like a man diagonally parked in a parallel universe. Looked as if he was trying to find the gap between keeper and first slip. For the record the edge went straight to Ramdin behind the stumps.. 90/5

10.4 to Imran Farhat, Gone! That fatal flirt outside off from Farhat. Time and again that swish has led to his demise. Short in length and slanted across, Farhat throws his bat at it, the ball flies off the outer edge to right of second slip, Good sharp catch. Collymore strikes for West Indies.. 40/2
14.6 to Kamran Akmal, double strike by Collymore! Akmal falls. The commentators curse! Just when I was talking him up, he reaches out for a delivery, slashes it straight to Smith at backward point. 50/3
40.3 to Abdul Razzaq, Collymore! perfect line and length and shaping away from the right-hander - Razzaq goes fishing outside the off stump and catches a thin edge, Ramdin does the rest. Pakistan six down and in deep trouble now.. 118/6

42.4 to Naved-ul-Hasan, Samuels strikes back! full and on the stumps, Hasan goes back to defend but is beaten by the turn and the ball hits the pad plumb in front of the stumps.. 130/7
