68.5 to DR Flynn, that's a ripper! Lee fires that from round the wicket, lands it on a good length and gets it to swing in sharply through the air, Flynn fails to get right behind the line and the ball clips his pad and cannons on to the top of the off stump, the bowling change has worked. 228/6
92.4 to BB McCullum, the slower consumes him, it lands a little wide of the offstump and McCullum shapes to play a very half-hearted drive through the offside, he doesn't really go through with the shot and a thick outside edge falls low in front of Haddin, he takes it inches off the turf and McCullum hangs around to see if it carried, it was a clean catch. 266/7
96.4 to IE O'Brien, that's 50 wickets in the calendar year for Lee, he pitches it just back of a length outside off and O'Brien gets forward to defend, the thick outside edge is taken very well by Haddin who flings himself to his right, cups it with both hands and falls hard on his elbows. 270/9
98.3 to CS Martin, the middle stump is flattened and Vettori is stranded, Lee fires it full and gets it to swing in sharply, Martin fails to get bat on ball and the ball deflects off his pad and crashes on to the stump, it's also the 24th Test duck for Martin. 270/10
2065612.80967102
60.2 to LRPL Taylor, Taylor gets the slow death from Koertzen, Clark gets the ball to bend back in off the pitch, Taylor tries to flick across the line but the ball hits him just above the knee roll and in line with middle and leg stump at least, Koertzen thinks about it before giving him out, Hawkeye indicates that it hit him too high. 200/5
2555622.241286110
16.5 to JM How, bad ball, bad shot and How's got to go, Johnson dishes it out very wide outside off and invites an ugly slash past the covers, the ball gets the toe edge of his bat and Haddin takes one of his easier catches. 46/1
95.3 to TG Southee, very nasty delivery and Southee is all at sea, Johnson bangs it in short and gets it to rear up on the right hander, Southee is forced to play at it but fails to fend it off with soft hands, the ball lobs off his glove and Katich takes it easily running forward from leg gully. 269/8
1626323.93708201
27.5 to JD Ryder, Hauritz gets his man, he pitches it short of a length and Ryder shapes to pull across the line, he gets plenty of wood on it but slams it to Michael Clarke's right at short midwicket, he flings himself sideways and pulls off a stunning catch, superb reflexes there as he cups it with both hands. 101/2
35.2 to AJ Redmond, Redmond falls right in to the trap and Hauritz has two after lunch! He flights it on middle and leg, he gets on his knee and attempts the slog sweep which fetched him two sixes before lunch, however this time Symonds is there at deep midwicket and he cups it easily over his head after sprinting a few yards to his left. 130/3
1221711.41601001
57.1 to PG Fulton, great reflexes from Katich! Symonds bowls it back of a length, Fulton reads the length early and shapes to pull but fails to clear short midwicket, Katich flings himself to his right and catches it with both hands, the Australians are really delighted for Symonds. 194/4

81.1 to MEK Hussey, superb catch by Redmond! Martin bangs it in short and Hussey shapes to pull, he plays a little too early and the shot is miscued, the ball is in the air for a while but Redmond accepts the challenge by running forward from midwicket and taking the catch close to short square leg, he dives forward and takes it with both hands just inches off the ground. A rather strange shot by Hussey, a little out of character. 244/4
81.5 to A Symonds, Symonds doesn't look too happy with that but he has to go, Martin pitches it on the corridor outside off and draws Symonds forward, there's a sound as the ball passes the bat and both McCullum and Martin think they've git him, Doctrove agrees and Symonds glances at the umpire, replays showed the bat striking the pad but no real signs of an edge, a few more replays will be handy. 247/5
27110003.7011713000
59.42012422.0729817112
14.6 to SM Katich, another very handy breakthrough before lunch, Vettori lands it on the rough outside off and gets it to turn, Katich gets forward to defend but the inside edge clips his pad and Ryder at forward short-leg takes it easily, no doubt about the edge at all. 49/2
157.4 to NM Hauritz, bowled through the gate, lands on middle and off and skids through straight, Hauritz leaves a lot of daylight between bat and pad as he tries to force it away and the ball hits the middle stump. 535/10
31611133.5814118000
51.1 to RT Ponting, the bowling change works, O'Brien bangs it in short of a length outside off but the ball doesn't rise as much as Ponting would have expected it to, he shapes to play a booming pull past midwicket but the ball travels quickly off the bottom of the bat straight to Fulton at short midwicket, Ponting mumbles something to O'Brien while walking back. 155/3
131.1 to MJ Clarke, the bowling change works, O'Brien delivers it from wide of the crease and pitched it up, Clarke can't resist the front foot slash and fails to get the desired elevation to clear point, Ryder leaps up and takes it easily. 428/6
145.1 to B Lee, Taylor pulls off a blinder and he can scarcely believe it, the ball is banged in short outside off and Lee attempts an upper cut, the ball travels quickly over the slips and Taylor at first slip stretches out his right hand and plucks it over his head and falls backwards. 470/7
713304.71275000
604727.83205203
154.4 to MG Johnson, comes round the wicket and gives it a lot of air, Johnson gets on his knee for the slog sweep but gets a thick top edge, McCullum comes forward to take the skier. 526/8
156.1 to BJ Haddin, the end of a stupendous innings from Haddin, flighted on middle and leg, he tries to slog sweep Redmond over the stands and nearly succeeds, however he runs in to 'two-meter' Peter Fulton who cups it just inches before the rope. 532/9

9.2 to AJ Redmond, it doesn't take too long for Australia to strike, Lee bowls it fractionally short of a length outside off and tempts Redmond to go for the slash, he fails to keep it down however and Clarke at cover point takes it easily, Redmond could well have left it alone. 39/1
15.1 to JD Ryder, Lee strikes for the second time this morning, Lee pitches it up a touch wide outside off and tempts Ryder to flirt with danger, he gets forward to drive on the up but tamely scoops it to Symonds at cover, another easy catch for the Australians. Another wicket is gifted to the home wide this morning, Ryder looked fairly ok at the crease before succumbing to a rush of blood. 55/2
19.6 to LRPL Taylor, very soft dismissal, Lee bangs it on a good length and angles it towards the middle stump, Taylor shapes to work it to the on side but plays a little to early and hence gets a leading edge straight to the bowler, Lee takes an easy return catch. 58/3
21.4 to JM How, Ricky Ponting take a bow! Lee deserves a lot of credit for pitching it on the offstump and getting it to seam away, How's squared up a bit and he shapes to defend but fails to cover the line, the outside edge travels low to Ponting's right at second slip and he takes a one-handed stunner, Ponting's absolutely delighted with his effort and why not? All the slip fielders and Lee run after him. 63/4
71.5 to IE O'Brien, that's a five-for and the wait finally ends for Lee, pitches it on the offstump and gets it to swing back in, O'Brien gets his bat very close to his pads and Doctrove doesn't ponder over that for too long, that would have crashed in to the middle stump. 181/9
1052202.20523000
15.172931.91785000
29.5 to DR Flynn, the bowling change works, Johnson fires it full and gets it to swing in sharply, Flynn tries to work it to the on side but he's beaten for pace and movement, Doctrove thinks about it a while and raises the fingerbo. 76/5
37.1 to PG Fulton, what a delivery! Johnson hits the right length bang on the offstump, there's just a hint of seam movement and it's enough to shave the offstump, Fulton was too late to get his bat down and cover the line and before he knew it the bails were all over the place. 84/6
74.1 to CS Martin, Johnson adds the finishing touches and Australia win by an innings and 62 runs and take the series 2-0, he delivers from round the wicket and fires it on the offstump, Martin's beaten for pace and the ball crashes on to the top of the offstump, it's also Martin's sixth pair in Tests and McCullum's stranded on 84. 203/10
24113221.331304101
46.4 to DL Vettori, classic offspinner's dismissal, he comes from round the wicket and pitches it up on the rough on the offstump, Vettori shapes to drive but fails to cover the turn and succeeds in getting a thick edge to Hayden at first slip. 105/7
58.3 to TG Southee, this time he makes him play, it's a little quicker through the air and draws Southee forward, the outside edge travels quickly to Ponting at second slip. 131/8
