0 Number of times that England have beaten India after batting first and being bowled out for a score of 230 or less. England have suffered this fate on nine occasions. India have been in this situation 10 times against England, but have managed to win twice. In all, when bowling first, India have bowled out their opposition for 230 or less on 85 occasions, and have won 80 of those matches.
90 Number of ODIs that India have won under MS Dhoni's captaincy, equalling Mohammad Azharuddin's record for most wins by an Indian captain. However, Azharuddin needed 174 ODIs to get to this mark, while Dhoni needed 161. The overall record for the most ODI wins as captain is held by Ricky Ponting who led Australia to victory in 165 matches. Allan Border (107 wins) is the only other captain with more than 100 ODI victories.
13 Number of English players to score 3000 ODI runs. Alastair Cook joined that list when he hit a boundary to go from 13 to 17, during his innings of 44 today. In all, 130 players have achieved this milestone in ODIs.
9 Number of 50-plus partnership scored by England's openers this year. They are a long way ahead of Sri Lanka's openers, who are second on the list with five partnerships of 50 or more. However, England's openers have not yet put up a century stand, as opposed to the South Africa openers, who have had three 100+ partnerships this year.
131 Number of stumpings Dhoni has effected across Tests, ODIs and T20Is. He started the day on 129 - joint highest with Kumar Sangakkara - but now holds the sole record. However, Dhoni does not have the record for most stumpings in a specific format.
16 Number of times that Ian Bell has been run-out in ODI cricket, the most for an English batsman. The earlier record of 15 run-outs was jointly held by Bell, Paul Collingwood and Allan Lamb. Marvan Atapattu, who has been run-out 41 times in his career, heads the overall list. Rahul Dravid and Inzamam-ul-Haq have been run-out 40 times each in ODIs.
28 England's average in the last two years against spin in ODI cricket. In the same period, Australia have averaged 43 and India 38. The only top-10 team with an average poorer than England's is Zimbabwe, with 25.
5 Number of times in ODI cricket that both English openers have been dismissed in the forties. Cook was dismissed for 44 today, while his partner Alex Hales made 42. Three of the previous four instances of both English openers scoring forties were against Australia. Across countries, this has happened 34 times in all.
46 Strike rate of India's opening bowlers in England. This is their worst in any country where India have played at least five ODIs. In today's match, India's opening bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohit Sharma, bowled 66 balls and conceded 62 runs for only one wicket.
15 Shikhar Dhawan's batting average in ODIs outside the subcontinent starting with India's tour to South Africa in December 2013. He has scored 120 runs in eight innings since then, with no fifties. In the same circumstances, Virat Kohli has scored 362 runs, at an average of 40, including two fifties and a hundred.
