0.4 to G Gambhir, silence, says Anderson, to his detractors after luring Gambhir into the cordon. Just back of a length but he got it to jag away massively. The batsman had originally intended to play and then changed his mind, but the ball kissed the hanging, open face and sails through to the keeper.. 3/1
30.3 to STR Binny, no need for another slip! This one goes straight to Cook at first. Full, shaping away, takes a thick outside edge and flies nicely to the captain. That came from some of the highest-quality swing bowling you'll see, regardless of the quality of player it was against. 44/6
15.142721.78773000
5.6 to CA Pujara, his misery ends and it was quite tough to watch really. The stumps are rattled, but they are checking on the no-ball. Almost half his boot is behind the mark. Pujara is absolutely shocked. The bat was slow in coming down, there was enough gap between it and the pad to sneak through. Clips the top flap, then his arm and timber!. 10/2
61.1 to MS Dhoni, "played, mate," says Broad with a little clap as the India captain nails a pull.... but it's gone right down long leg's throat! This was banged in on middle and leg, Dhoni had gone inside the line and smacked it but Woakes is there and takes a pretty good catch. Grimaces as his vigil ends, still no century outside the subcontinent but without his hand India would have been nowhere.. 148/10
1473232.28723100
13.4 to V Kohli, he's out leaving the ball again! Kohli looks dreadfully disappointed. He was on the back foot, shuffling and the ball has stayed on with the angle in at him. Dharmasena takes a long look and finally raises the finger. Ball tracker says it would have been on-field call, just about kissing off stump. 26/3
15.6 to AM Rahane, pushes in front of his body and offers a sharpish catch back to the bowler! He was going for the drive again and realised the danger perhaps a bit too late. Tried to check his stroke and ends up with another tame dismissal to go with the one at Ageas Bowl. 28/4
39.1 to B Kumar, long hop wide of the stumps... and Bhuvnesh has nicked off! Me oh my, this goes from bad to farce for India, that should have been scattering pigeons through backward point but, in throwing the bat for all his might, Bhuvi got the airiest little tickle on the toe, it was clearly audible and Jos Buttler snapped up another. 79/8
1473032.14715000
18.5 to M Vijay, and that just about seals things! England's selection has paid off. Vijay's patience runs out. Admittedly this was a pretty good ball, back of a length and straightening to get the outside edge. Root is at gully and he has to dive forward, juggle it, but holds on to it. 36/5
36.4 to R Ashwin, is this a superb catch? Yes, it is. Root in the gully as Ashwin is squared up and gets a thick outside edge. Root is convinced he has grabbed it low to the turf. Ashwin stands his ground and the umpires went upstairs. We know what can happen here. It does appear, at first look, that his fingers are under the ball. Over to the third umpire. He has a look at a couple of replays...and it's given!. 68/7
44.5 to VR Aaron, back of a length, Aaron turns it off his body... straight back down the track to the bowler! India are nine down and still in double figures, Woakes has his third and England are gleefully playing the deconstruction artists. Aaron didn't have a Sccoby where that was going, finally focusing forlornly on Woakes trotting down to take the catch. 90/9

94.5 to CR Woakes, full down the side, Woakes flicks at it and gets a tickle to Dhoni who takes a good catch diving to his left. Woakes a touch unlucky, the faintest edge trying to help it on it's way but very well held by the Indian skipper. 318/7
3089643.201389105
63.1 to IR Bell, lovely delivery, length, angled into off stump, Bell pokes forward and edges to Dhoni! Another for India and it's very nicely bowled, some swing into the right-hander, Bell trying to play from the crease, it straightened just slightly to take the edge and Dhoni pouched the easy chance. 204/4
93.4 to JC Buttler, angled in again, Buttler clips leg side and finds short midwicket. The trap was set and this inswinger that has caused problems all day finally does the trick with Buttler tucking it straight to the fielder who takes an easy catch. 309/6
107.2 to CJ Jordan, he's found the edge...a good delivery from Ishant, similar to how he removed Bell, pitches just outside off and straightens, takes a thin nick through to the keeper. Muted celebrations from India. 400/8
113.6 to SCJ Broad, the short ball has worked, in a sense...Broad gloves a bouncer into the slip cordon. Barely an appeal, really. The replays show Broad's glove was off the bat when the ball hit it. Not the first of those we've seen this season. A lively innings from Broad, no hanging around. Not sure they checked the no-ball. 463/9
29115325.2711725004
20.5 to SD Robson, beaten for pace! That is Aaron's mandate and Robson has missed a straight ball. It was full, it was hurtling towards the stumps and the batsman, who seemed to be in leave-the-ball mode, was quite late on the shot. 66/1
57.4 to AN Cook, held this time! Reward for Aaron and the slips have held one. M Vijay grabs a low chance at first. He has been challenged outside off since lunch, this time he's lured into the drive and it just reaches the cordon. So no hundred for Cook.. 191/2
1205804.83478002
21.327233.349210000
62.5 to GS Ballance, press forward and dabs this straight to silly point! Goodness what a tame dismissal, Ballance has just patted it straight to Pujara who holds a simple chance at ankle height. Quite bizarre really, a comfortable forward defence to a length ball and Ballance ends up walking off! The delivery didn't do anything unusual at all, maybe a little bit of bounce but nothing that should cause alarm, it's just a lazy bit of cricket from the batsman playing with quite hard hands. 201/3
68.6 to MM Ali, floated up a little again and Moeen goes to leave but does so too late and plays on! Another for Ashwin and India. Moeen in two minds and gets a bottom edge into the outside edge of off stump. Another cheap score for Moeen who really didn't know what to do with this, tossed up just outside off, it was just okay to leave but Moeen didn't shoulder arms in time. 229/5
116.3 to JM Anderson, finally the misery ends for India. A tossed up ball went on with the angle as Anderson jumped forward to block. The bat had to come around the pad though and the umpire thinks it's adjacent. But it didn't seem to be turning enough... impact on leg stump and the ball tracker says it would be missing. 486/10

4.5 to M Vijay, inswinger this time and he's gone! Lets out a violent cry as a plan comes together (Yes, I stole that from Hannibal). Vijay was jumping across to protect his off stump but this good length ball jags back at him alarmingly. His flick is a little slow in coming down, ball thuds into his pads on middle and leg and he has to walk back. India's opening partnership fails again. 6/1
12.5 to CA Pujara, and another! One closer to Botham. That. Was. A. Ripper. He's nervous about the one coming in, this one holds its line outside off, Pujara trying to get forward but can only get a thin edge to the keeper.. 30/3
1022212.20482000
17.5 to AM Rahane, what a stunning catch! England can do no wrong. Ballance has held a screamer at third slip. Rahane pushing at length ball, but for all the world it didn't look as though the edge would carry...then Ballance sprang across to his left and grabbed it inches off the turf in front of second slip. One of the better slip catches you will see.. 45/4
702413.42313010
18.4 to MS Dhoni, and another! Five down. And it's the in-form captain. This could finish very quickly. The delivery didn't do very much, a touch of extra bounce from back-of-a-length and Dhoni got an inside edge into his thigh pad which flew nicely to short leg. 46/5
4.201844.15193000
23.2 to V Kohli, got him, late swing and nicked to slip! A final failure to launch on a dismal tour for Kohli, though he was undone by a cracker of a ball from Jordan, a touch fuller and straighter, he was trying to whip it through midwicket but the ball swerved, clipped the edge and nestled in Alastair Cook's grasp. 62/6
25.2 to R Ashwin, draws the edge this time, Ballance can't take it... but Bell grabs the rebound! India are seven down and the white flag is slowly being raised! In fact, might as well be a pair of white underpants on a stick. Jordan looks delighted, Bell is gambolling around in celebration. Ashwin pushed hard at the delivery on the up, turned around to see the ricochet swallowed, tucked his bat under his arm and marched off. 70/7
25.6 to B Kumar, gone, catching practice in the slips! India are snowballing towards a huge defeat, the ball was full, wide enough to leave but Bhuvnesh, once a model of lower-order probity for India, lost all discipline and sliced a leaden-footed drive straight to second slip. 74/8
29.2 to I Sharma, short again, scooped straight up into the air... Moeen trots to his left from silly point and calmly takes the catch! It's all over, India have been shake-rattle-and-rolled, England win by an innings and 244 runs and take the series 3-1. Jordan has four-for, India have lost 8 for 64 in 17 overs, another slasher-flick session to follow the X-rated horror of Old Trafford. 94/10
