62.2 to AN Petersen, gone! From absolutely nowhere Sri Lanka strike. A lazy drive on the up presents a sharp chance to the left of extra cover. It was a length ball outside off stump and Petersen should have been more forward. A diving Dilshan takes it with both hands.. 261/3

4.1 to GC Smith, what a return to the side for Prasad, first ball wicket, Smith was looking to cut that one, edges it on to the stumps, Smith will be distraught being dismissed by that harmless delivery, it was short of a length and not too far from the stumps, Smith went for the cut, doesn't middle it and leg stump is on the gorund. 25/1
12.6 to HM Amla, huge appeal for lbw and Prasad has struck, massive wicket of Amla, nothing special about that delivery, angling in, short of length ball, Amla was on the back foot, he falls over as he looks to play that, is struck on the pad, Sri Lanka are confident that would have gone on to hit leg stump, so is the umpire, so is Petersen when Amla asks whether to go for the referral. 56/2

118.3 to JH Kallis, Kallis is gone, the end of an epic, from two ducks to a 200, Kallis gets a standing ovation as he walks off, a flighted ball from Herath, on a length, Kallis skates down the track and looks to launch that one to the long-on boundary, hits low on the inside-half of the bat, ends up as a low catch to mid-on, it's a pity you couldn't hear the cries of delight from the Sri Lankan fielders. 453/4

39.3 to KC Sangakkara, tragic for Sri Lanka! Sangakkara is gone! Full length ball, pitched wide of off stump, Sanga gets carried away by the beauty around him. He leans out and square drives in the air. Amla at point leaps to his left and takes a good catch.. 149/3
59.3 to DPMD Jayawardene, Steyn gets the big one, the follow-on mark looks very very far away now, Jayawardene is gone, a length ball that moves away, Jayawardene looks to play that off the front foot, gets a thick edge, he takes the bottom hand off as he plays, still carries to Kallis at second slip, Kallis may not get a ten-for, perhaps going for ten catches instead. 189/5
61.5 to AD Mathews, the Steyn outswinger does the job, Sri Lanka imploding, a failure for Mathews, this was well outside off, Mathews should have left that alone, decided to prod at it instead, a faint edge to the keeper, the bowling from the Wynberg end has been top-notch today. 194/6
1974632.42956000
55.2 to TT Samaraweera, there's the reward, he has given Samaraweera a working over, short of length ball moves away this time, Samaraweera nibbles at it, the outside edge flies low to Kallis at second slip, Kallis gobbles up that chance, the follow-on mark is still 197 runs away. 184/4
67.6 to HMRKB Herath, full ball and a huge heave attempted over the leg side. Herath misses, it's bang in front, and up goes the finger. Herath refers the decision but there's no bat involved and he's gone. It was an awful slog and he was hit on the back pad in front of middle stump. A pretty poor option to review as well.. 220/8
71.6 to KTGD Prasad, and another one for Philander, length ball just outside off, a soft dismissal this as Prasad drives this straight to point, that's Philander's third, he can't get a five-for this time, but doubt he 'll complain too much about that. 236/9
13.527425.345813001
14.4 to HDRL Thirimanne, cleaned him up. Full and straight and Thirimanne is beaten through the gate playing all round it. The delivery wasn't anything special at all but the batsman seemed to be beaten for pace and has had his off stump uprooted. 70/1
73.5 to LD Chandimal, strange dismissal that, a wide delivery that, Chandimal looked to carve that towards cover, the ball goes through to the keeper, Boucher collects and applauds Morkel's bowling, no attempt at an appeal, neither was there any question from Morkel, Chandimal walks though as there was a thick edge, waiting to see whether the follow-on has been imposed. 239/10
2115422.57903100
28.3 to TM Dilshan, Dilshan is gone, Tahir has struck, but the credit for the wicket should go to Graeme Smith who takes a superlative catch at long-on, he had move a long way to his left to pluck that, it was still a low chance, Smith does exceptionally well, it was a length ball from Tahir, Dilshan wanted to clobber that over long-on though there was a fielder in the deep, he doesn't get hold of it and it is over to Smith to complete the dismissal. 126/2
66.5 to NLTC Perera, big legspinners from Tahir, and that is much too good for Perera, spins in off the footmarks, Perera looks to go for the cut that fetched him a boundary the previous ball, this jumps back at him and crashes into off stump, Tahir sets off one of his dramatic celebrations, starts with a short sprint and some exuberant arm-waving, Sri Lanka in total disarray here. 219/7

3.5 to TM Dilshan, and another one for Philander, a beauty from him, he's producing this on a regular basis, a length ball that seams away, Dilshan goes for the drive, nicks it to the keeper, could this be a three-day game?. 12/1
85.1 to AD Mathews, got him! Went for the pull stroke, it doesn't get up and strikes the batsman below the knee roll absolutely bang in front of middle and off. For some unbeknown reason it's reviewed but nothing saving Mathews on the replays. On day one that would probably have been four but it just scurried along and didn't bounce properly at all. A shame for Sri Lanka but South Africa finally have the first breakthrough of the day. 240/5
89.2 to LD Chandimal, gone. Poor stroke pushing away from his body to a length ball, should have left that all day. A decent nick and a very sharp catch by Kallis at second slip, part of the cordon who have stood up closer than normal today. Taken with both hands up high to his right. 248/6
1946813.57858000
38.3 to DPMD Jayawardene, Kallis is on fire, is there anything this man can't do? that's his fourth slip catch of the day and the best so far, short of length ball from Morkel, gets the edge as Mahela is caught on the crease, the ball flies low towards second slip, it was almost behind Kallis as he grabs it low to his right, top catch that - a double-century, breaking the longest stand by the Sri Lankans and now this, Man of the Match is going to be a tough choice. 98/4
32710633.3114113100
34.4 to KC Sangakkara, but this time it is gone. A back of a length ball perhaps doesn't turn as much as Sangakkara thought. Playing back, he gets an outside edge that goes at a comfortable height to Kallis at slip. Tahir has almost run to the boundary in celebration.... 83/3
100.2 to NLTC Perera, the Tahir celebration is there once again, he's running for joy after Perera again swats the ball towards long-on, this time there's a fielder in the deep, Morne Morkel doesn't drop many, he doesn't drop this, end of Perera, can Sri Lanka avoid an innings defeat?. 304/7
106.4 to KTGD Prasad, that's probably the end of his innings, Prasad wants to send another ball into orbit, takes a couple of paces down the track in his attempt, Boucher collects, completes the stumping before Prasad can get his bat back in, Philander's dreams of a five-for are crushed. 327/9
14.523532.35692110
29.6 to HDRL Thirimanne, a back of a length ball that rebounds to short leg, it's a fine catch from Amla, given not out though but referred. Replays suggest there was an edge onto the thigh pad...and indeed hotspot confirms as such. Thirimanne gone! He tried to flick round the corner but got a feather edge onto his pad. A very sharp take from Amla above his head, great reaction to get up and snaffle that with his right hand. 79/2
101.4 to HMRKB Herath, there it is, unfortunately it results in a caught-and-bowled, that short ball was too quick for him, hits high on the bat, and lobs to Kallis' left, was not the easiest of catches, but Kallis can do no wrong, his sixth catch of the match, his second wicket, plus the double-century, not a bad effort this. 306/8
107.5 to UWMBCA Welegedara, that's the end of that, you miss I hit, Kallis gets this third wicket, a fullish ball on legstump, Welegedara skips beyond leg stump once more, he doesn't connect, leg stump is out of the ground, South Africa have to make two runs to win the series. 342/10
