44.6 to DC Thomas, gone, slightly back of a length and it rose up well, Thomas tried to dab it to third man, gets a thin edge straight to the keeper, Ireland have fought back in these last few overs. 228/6
712203.14324000
905826.44215120
48.1 to KA Pollard, Misses the century as he holes out to long-off, length ball and just the right delivery he needed to get to that landmark, but he didn't connect as well as he would have liked, lofted it straight to long-off. 267/7
48.2 to AD Russell, bowled'im, full on middle and leg, Russell has a wild swing and not for the first time, misses. The leg stump is uprooted and the umpire just wants to check again if it was a no-ball. Replaus show it wasn't, an Russell, pretty unhappy with himself, has to go. 267/8
1005615.60224000
49.6 to KAJ Roach, swings hard but miscues it to point, was targeting long-off there but went far from it, West Indies have been bowled out. 275/10
907147.88255500
24.2 to S Chanderpaul, O'Brien has struck, a soft dismissal in the end, pitched up on the off and Chanderpaul drives it uppishly to find Porterfield at extra cover who takes a good, low catch. 89/1
24.5 to DM Bravo, Gone! Timber! Full on middle and Bravo senses a chance, meaty delivery and he tries to blaze it down the ground, misses and the middle stump is out of the ground. 89/2
42.3 to DS Smith, shuffles way too much in an attempt to flick it fine, it's fired full on the stumps and he misses, timber! The end of an innings Devon will remember for the rest of his life.. 218/4
42.6 to DJG Sammy, a wicket Ireland needed badly, though it's not Pollard. Sammy can step it up but he finds fine leg, short on middle and leg and he swivels to play the pull, gets a top edge and Dockrell makes no mistake in the deep. 222/5
20904.5071000
301515.0091010
31.6 to RR Sarwan, Sarwan holes out, Dockrell strikes, tossed up and he was tempted, wasn't much intent in that shot however, was aiming at that gap between long-off and deep extra cover but didn't go where he intended, landed straight into the hands of Mooney at long-off. 130/3

45.5 to JF Mooney, Roach keeps delivering these thunderbolt yorkers, and the tail-enders don't stand a chance at all. Mooney tried to make room by moving to the leg side, Roach calmly followed him and banged his boots hard. The ball ricocheted onto the stumps and that's the end of Mooney.. 215/9
1005345.30337020
1.4 to PR Stirling, gone. Was the appeal for lbw? Might have been. Umpire de Silva has given it out, and Stirling is most definitely out caught. Back of a length on off and breaking away, he stays back and tries to turn it to the leg side. Huge inside edge, onto the pad and caught on the off side. Easy as they come.. 6/1
20.6 to NJ O'Brien, Benn has struck a crucial blow, Niall departs. Again, its that uncanny loop and bounce he gets that made the difference. That, and Niall's decision to play inside the line and try the cheeky run down to third man. Short of a length and a hint of inward turn, not as much as the previous ball, Niall stayed back and looked to dab it fine, it missed the outer edge and hit off stump.. 86/3
42.2 to AR Cusack, Cusack is gone and the chances of an upset have receded considerably. Full yorker on middle stump, he plays all over it as he jumps out and looks to flick. The ball bursts through the defences to Thomas who fumbles and tumbles, but has enough time to regain the ball and break the stumps. Cusack never made it back in, he was in a shambles of his own down the track.. 199/7
48.6 to GH Dockrell, all over, after all those yorkers, Benn has got a wicket with orthodox left-arm spin. Tossed up delicately on middle and off, allowing it to dip on Dockrell who reaches out and swipes. He doesn't make contact as the ball grips and breaks past him. Off stump is disturbed on the way. Ireland are bowled out.. 231/10
1033133.10382000
11.6 to WTS Porterfield, Sammy has nagged away like a hair stuck on the tongue that just will not come out, and Porterfield has spat out too hard, in the process losing his dentures. Or something like that. Sammy has strangled him out. Back of a length on middle and off, Porterfield thought it had to go and went for a heave over mid on. The length, as has been the case with Sammy so far today, was again not there for the drive. It pops up, hitting the bat closer to the handle than the sweet spot, and is easily taken at mid on. 42/2
39.4 to KJ O'Brien, Pollard 2 - KOB 0. And it may well be the ball that makes it West Indies 2 - Ireland 0. Shades of Ajay Jadeja catching Allan Border in the 1992 World Cup, according to Sriram Veera. Length ball coming in with the angle, KOB tries to get under it and dump it over long on, but ends up scooping it higher rather than far. Pollard runs in from the deep, with a dodgy knee mind you. He dives forrward. He is one with the turf as he plucks it with his hands in front of him. He stands up, and he roars.. 187/5
41.4 to GC Wilson, Sammy might have done it for WI. LBW appeal given and referred. This seemed adjacent. Or did it? Sammy lands this outside off and moves it in off the seam. Wilson has pushed outside the line and gets the pad outside the line. Wilson should be safe. Or is he? Asoka, as always has a surprise up his sleeve. He says the original decision stays. Wilson is flabbergasted after seeing the replay on the giant screen, and implored Asoka to check again. He was offering some kind of a shot at it, the late dab that he's played all day. Asoka is unmoved. Sammy puts an arm on Wilson's shoulder, but can't calm the agitated Wilson. Eventually Asoka checks again upstairs. And in the end, after a review of the review of the original call, he's given it out. UDRS continues to confound. Asoka apparently thought Wilson wasn't playing a shot. If Wilson wasn't playing a shot there, then I am Bill Gates.. 199/6
1023713.70414001
37.3 to EC Joyce, Rusell has bowled the ball of the day. He then jumps up four feet in the air, throws his right arm up with finger pointed upwards. He's thrilled and he should be, since he has bowled a dream yorker. Delivers from slightly wide of the crease, and it snakes through the air around middle and leg, past Joyce's attempt to flick off the toes, and makes a mess of the timber behind him as he plays all around it. Collective sighs of relief being heaved in the Caribbean. However, there is a KOB to content with. And a batting PP.. 177/4
