4.3 to RS Bopara, and now he's gone, second ball edged behind! England are immediately two down and you have to wonder about the logic of promoting Bopara on his current form. He simply pushed indeterminately at a ball he could have left and feathered through to de Villiers, a type of dismissal we've seen a couple of times previously in the series. 24/2
30.3 to SR Patel, slower bouncer and Patel has been duped, gloving through to the keeper! The ball sat up, hovered in front of the batsman's eyeline and he tried to fiddle it round the corner only to get a faint fist-bump through to de Villiers. 124/6

3.6 to IR Bell, sliding in with the arm and Bell is hit in front ... Dharmasena gives it but England review, which replays show was a poor decision, Bell played for turn that wasn't there and the ball went on past the bat, impact was inside the line and leg stump would have been rattled. 23/1
43.2 to JC Tredwell, nicely flighted this, Tredwell is done and gets bowled. No where near the pitch of the ball and swings across it to be bowled middle stump. Really well bowled from Peterson, tossed up and Tredwell was done, completely misread it. 175/8
43.3 to JM Anderson, what on earth, first ball, straight up in the air and caught. Goodness me that is an awful shot, skied it straight up first ball an absolute shocker from Anderson, tried to find the pavilion to a ball that was again tossed up and floated nicely, two in two deceiving the batsman in the flight. 175/9

18.6 to JM Bairstow, clipped into the leg side and caught at deep square leg. Bad way to go really, he improvised, going across the stumps to flick over the leg side, it was timed pretty well but he picked out the fielder with a little flick with perfection. 79/3
37.3 to C Kieswetter, slogged and gone, straight up in the air and caught at mid-off! Kieswetter was maybe fooled by a slower ball there, went to drive down the ground and hold the pose but was left staring at the ground as the ball soared up and down into the safe hands of Amla. 156/7
8.203814.56314002
45.2 to JW Dernbach, caught behind and that ends a pretty poor effort from England. A short ball, Dernbach goes to pull and nicks behind, done for pace and a thin edge goes through to the keeper at shoulder height. 182/10

19.5 to EJG Morgan, oh another one gone! Tried to go over mid on and mistimed it straight to mid on, poor dismissal, Hashim Amla bags the simple catch as Morgan stepped down the wicket, trying to find the long on rope but got it off the outer half of the bat I think and slapped it straight to the fielder. 82/4

25.2 to AN Cook, chipped back to the bowler and caught! Another very soft dismissal and now England in serious trouble, it was a low full toss that Cook went to punch back down the ground but spooned a low catch to the bowler who claimed it low, a sharp take and a bad way to go for another England batsman. 99/5

2.3 to F du Plessis, gone, two down! A snorter, pitches in line and leaves du Plessis and he nicks off! That was a brute of a ball, on a good length and the batsman stayed back, played inside the line and it kissed the edge high up the bat before soaring through into Kieswetter's gloves. 11/2
4.4 to D Elgar, he's got bat on this one and has to go, caught behind! Anderson kept probing outside off and Elgar's green colouring was as much down to seasickness as his South Africa kit - he could have left on length probably but pushed, nicked and had to walk. 14/3
7.305617.46269040
1.4 to GC Smith, fired across the bows, loose shot and edges to slip! Tredwell juggles but this time clings on! England's plan of trying to pull Smith into his discomfort zone outside off has only had sporadic success but this time the frustration results in a big, breezy waft and a thick, thick edge. 8/1
