Despite his background, he joined New York Eagles, a Caribbean-centred club, and has continued to play for West Indian rather than Asian sides since. A profilic run-scorer in domestic cricket, he represented the USA in Jamaica in October 2000 in the Red Stripe Bowl and top scored (36) in the historic game in which the USA beat Barbados by two wickets. He holds the record for the highest individual score in North America - 304 not out (19x6, 28x4) in a team total of 436 for 7 in a quarter final game in the Northern California Cricket Association in 1999. He is one of only three players in the world to have scored a triple century in any form of limited-overs cricket. A computer professional, he lives with his family on Long Island, New York.
