0.1 to HM Amla, and Irfan has removed Amla first ball at his home ground. A loose shot from Hashim. Irfan bowls in the zone first up. On a length, just short of driving length, and just outside off. Amla follows it, is done in by the angle, and gets a healthy edge. Kamran Akmal takes it in front of slip. 0/1
0.2 to CA Ingram, bowled'im. Timber all over. Irfan is on fire. That's Garner bowling those yorkers with the left arm/ A perfect yorker first up. Swinging in, on the crease it lands and in front of off, and moves away slightly to beat the outside edge and knock the off stump over. 0/2
46.5 to RK Kleinveldt, won;t need that bat again today. Irfan does him in with a low full toss. RK is backing away, leaving the stumps exposed and Irfan hits the base of the off. 207/8
924535.00336010
9.1 to GC Smith, bowled'im. Smith has moved too far across for his own good. I suspect this was a Younis Khan suggestion because they are all swarming him and he has a huge smile on his face. Junaid has noticed Smith has been moving too far across and he bowls a leg-side full toss that beats him and knocks the leg bail over. 34/3
9.6 to F Behardien, Pakistan are all over South Africa. This is superb bowling. This one swings back in from a length and just outside off. Behardien is already playing away from the body and tentatively. It comes back enough to take the inside edge through to Kamran who takes a diving catch down the leg side. 38/4
49.1 to DW Steyn, and slips in a perfect yorker from round the stumps. Steyn does the heave-ho but misses by a week. 221/9

33.3 to DA Miller, given lbw. Will he review it? Don't think it will do him any good. Miller is looking to paddle this and misses. The ball pitches leg, turns away towards off, and hits him in front of middle. Miller has reviewed it. It hits him on the roll and height seems the only thing that can save him. That is hitting the middle and leg stumps two-thirds of the way up. 153/5
37.3 to AB de Villiers, Akmal takes his third difficult catch of the day. AB is not happy, but he has no review left. He looks to sweep this length-ball offbreak fine, seems to have been hit on the glove - not sure, though - and Akmal moves well with it and takes this on the second grab. A little, very small dot on the bottom edge too, when looking at the Hot Spot. 170/6
39.4 to R McLaren, Huge laughs all around as Irfan takes a freakish catch. Lofted down to long-off, which is not a smart thing to do because one of the three boundary riders is stationed there. Irfan seems to have over-run this, but sticks his left mitt out nonchalantly and takes it overhead. It was almost like he was plucking a fruit from a low hanging tree. 177/7

47.4 to Imran Farhat, what an unbelievable catch. Behardien keeps South Africa alive. Short again, Farhat is in a tangle, somehow gets enough bat to clear cover-point. So it seems. Behardien covers an insane amount of ground and takes this over his shoulder. 226/6
9.415115.27306020
1.3 to Mohammad Hafeez, flicked away from off, with the angle, and they are appealing for obstructing the field. This is placed to the right of long leg, Farhat is adamant about the second, Hafeez is slow to turn, and he starts running with half an eye on the throw coming from the keeper to the bowler, and is hit by the throw. Hafeez has altered his course only slightly, but that is good enough to rule a batsman out under the new playing conditions. Hafeez is livid as he goes back; possibly he feels he didn't alter significantly or intentionally but he did alter the line of running if only slightly. First man to be given out obstructing the field after the new playing conditions were introduced. 2/1
5.2 to Kamran Akmal, short, wide, rocketed straight to point. So Miller does pull off a near blinder. Remember Pakistan dropped a sitter from him, which cost them many runs in the first innings. This is like catching lightning. Absolutely smashed into the toes of pint where Miller goes down on a knee and plucks this without trouble. Akmal can't believe he has failed to either keep it down or hit it over the man because this ball was asking to be hit for four. 18/2
1005115.10376050
10.6 to Younis Khan, bowled'im. Played on. Stays a little low, I think. Younis Khan goes out to dab on a short-of-a-length delivery outside fof, the ball stays a little low, seams a little, and runs off the bat onto the stumps. 33/3
1004624.60294000
41.1 to Misbah-ul-Haq, Misbah misses century again. Oh the nearly man. This is the first time I have seen Misbah try to hit a six and fail. When he makes up his minds, he always clears the field. Backs away to try to launch him, but gets a top edge that seems to be clearing midwicket but Behardien does well to take this over his shoulder. 186/4
41.5 to Shahid Afridi, Boom Boom goes bust now. Gone second ball. Peterson bowls slower, shorter, Afridi rocks back to cut, but is done in by the slowness and gets an edge into AB's gloves. 191/5
