10pm: After Guptill and Anderson charged New Zealand to 196, Pakistan imploded in the chase, exemplified by Rizwan's run-out. The visitors lost wickets in clumps with only Sarfraz mounting some resistance. Barring Sarfraz, only Malik managed double figures. Anderson and Milne pushed the speed gun; the fielding was typically sharp from NZ. Elliott then showed off his range, floating an assortment of slower balls.

Anderson is the Man of the Match

Anderson: It was nice to get some runs finally and get back to international cricket. Not too bad, it has been nice (enjoying opening the bowling?)

Afridi: First of all I want to congratulate the New Zealand team. Obviously, if your first six batsmen are in the dressing room in five overs, what do you expect? My performance always plays a key role. Bowling is fine, but I need to score runs. I love to come back here as a commentator (chuckles). Thanks to the New Zealand crowd.

KW collects the trophy

KW: Every game was tough. They beat us big in the first. We won the last two. Credit to our boys for stepping up in the last two games. The batting effort was a great one. We knew we had to be aggressive with the ball. There was some improvement from the previous match. We know the T20 World Cup will be different conditions. We will have to be smart again.

Many thanks for tuning in. Do come back for the ODI series. Until then, goodbye

Munir: "Pakistan were 55/5, 77/7 and 99/9"

reg: "Has there been any word on Ross Taylor's injury?" --- Nope, we will have to wait

Hamza: "Absolutely well played by New Zealand. Pakistan definitely need to reflect on this loss. "
