0.4 to J Charles, and gone! Charles wafts loosely away from his body, the ball stops on him a touch and Charles lobs a catch to Dilshan at point. Malinga strikes in the first over in successive games. Charles has to go. Not a great shot, must be said. Discernible pace change from the pitch in Colombo, this is a lot slower. 4/1
4.5 to J Blackwood, another short delivery. Another wicket. Poor shot once again. It is a good short delivery outside off, Blackwood tries to steer one to third man but doesn't ride the bounce well enough and ends up spooning another catch to Dilshan at point. Got a tad big on him but did not play that well. 16/3

3.4 to ADS Fletcher, and he goes this time! An unconvincing innings comes to an end. Full on leg and Fletcher walks across and misses a straight one. But he wants the review. And the covers are coming on now too. What drama. That has to miss leg for Fletcher to survive. Just about shaves leg stump but the shuffle may have prompted the decision from the umpire. 12/2
5.4 to DM Bravo, bowled im. Bravo leaves a straight one. Full and swinging back in but Bravo doesn't pick that prodigious inswing. He chooses to leave and the ball thumps into off stump. WI in real trouble now.. 18/4
703925.57266030
10.4 to D Ramdin, he has been done in by some extreme pace! That is some short delivery. Short ball on leg, Ramdin is fending, and the ball smashes into his glove and then lobs up towards Kusal who dives in front and completes the catch. Quick downslide for WI. But that was an extremely good delivery. 52/5
23.5 to JO Holder, gone. This one skids onto the bat gain and Holder feathers one through to the keeper. Gentle fuller length delivery outside off and Holder looks to steer one to third man but the ball skids on quicker and Holder can only edge this through.. 109/7

18.4 to JL Carter, he is gone! That is a poor shot, and even poorer execution. Offspinner outside off, he gets down early to try and play a paddle sweep but he plays too early and the ball lobs up to Kusal who completes an easy catch. Struggled throughout the innings. 84/6
28.6 to CR Brathwaite, that was plumb. Slider on middle and leg, skids onto Brathwaite who misses his flick and is struck right in front. Not a problem with the decision. Just missed a straight one. 164/8

33.5 to SP Narine, picked the fielder at deep square leg. Important wicket that. Fuller than a good length on middle, Narine hoicks the ball to deep square leg. Struck that sweetly but found the fielder. A look of disappointment from Narine but was a decent cameo. 195/9

18.3 to MDKJ Perera, picks the man at midwicket and the crowd falls deafeningly silent. Full outside off and Kusal drags this to the man at midwicket at a good height too. He is distraught at his choice selection and that short arm jab results in his dismissal.. 103/3
7.312403.20313000

15.4 to HDRL Thirimanne, that was silly. Innocuous length ball has been popped straight at short cover. The umpires check the West Indies captain's front foot, while he himself clutches his right side and calls for some attention from the physio. Poor shot to end an innings that did not look like it was going anywhere. Nowhere close to a half-volley and yet he couldn't stop himself driving. Perhaps he was hoping to chip it over Samuels instead of right at him. 95/2
28.2 to TAM Siriwardana, another wicket falls! Opportune time to take a wicket for WI. Good length delivery and moving away, Siriwardana edges through for another catch to Ramdin. Good lines and lengths accounted for that wicket.. 161/5
704015.71223130
5.3 to TM Dilshan, this time Dilshan goes. Fullish and wide and Dilshan plays a repeat shot. Hits it uppishly and gives Carter the opportunity to make up immediately and he does so. He takes this lower and Brathwaite's mental and physical pain disappears. Very poor batting, must be said. Did not learn from his mistake.. 40/1
301605.3340000
301916.3371010
24.2 to LD Chandimal, and there is the wicket! Just a bit of away movement and Chandi plays inside the line and gets a thin edge which is gratefully accepted by Ramdin. He throws the ball up in glee. Carter strikes. Can this spark something for WI?. 134/4
