Sri Lanka 143/2(17.5 overs)

10.25pm With that we bid you goodbye from this tour, not much cricket was possible during the five matches and thanks for all the feedback and comments when the rain was away. This is Vishal Dikshit signing off with our scorer Gopi Rangarajan, goodbye and good luck!

Time for the presentation:

Kusal Perera is the Man of the Match: My normal game is attacking the ball and I capitalised on the right balls.

Kyle Mills: In all the three facets of the game we were pretty poor: we didn't get any partnerships and we fielded poorly. Some of the youngsters performed well on these two tours (Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) so we are pretty happy with that, it's given us a bit of confidence.

Dinesh Chandimal: We left no stone unturned to win this game. Credit goes to all the bowlers for the way they performed and then Kusal and Dilshan batted really well to take the game away. Thanks to the crowd for coming and supporting us. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the next series.

10.05pm 142 was not a bad score but Sri Lanka cruised to an eight-wicket win here. McClenaghan sent Jayawardene back early before Kusal Perera and Dilshan hit the ball all around the park to take the match away right from the beginning. Perera was dropped a couple of times, and he capitalised on those, and Dilshan never stopped at the other end with his barrage of boundaries. With that this short tour comes to an end Sri Lanka take the T20 series 1-0 after the ODI series was shared 1-1. And with that, Sri Lanka will continue to be on top of the T20 rankings.
