4.5 to DA Warner, and Senanayake has his response. Tossed it up on off, Warner gets low and just plain misses his sweep. The ball skids on with the arm and hits the side of off stump. Warner is not happy, Senanayake sends him off with some words. What a start he has provided. 57/1

19.6 to TM Head, picks out deep midwicket. Low full toss on leg, not a great delivery again but Head works it away to deep midwicket who gets down and takes the catch.. 263/3

13.2 to UT Khawaja, has not timed that and it goes straight down long-off's throat. Good catch by Thisara. Tossed it up outside off, Khawaja skips down and mis-timed his lofted drive but finds the fielder at long-off, who scurries to his left and holds on. Good take. Good innings. 154/2

0.5 to TM Dilshan, bowled, swing across the line and Dilshan falls early. Off the inside edge. Full, straight with a hint of inswing. Dilshan heaves and gets just a bit of bat. Clatters into middle stump. Salutes the crowd as he walks off one final time at this ground. Starc is pumped.. 9/1
18.1 to CK Kapugedera, gone. Kapugedara's enterprising innings ends. Full and wide outside off from Starc, Kapu tries to go inside out, over cover. But the ball skews off the toe end to point. Bailey settles underneath the sitter. 174/8
18.6 to RAS Lakmal, what a catch from Starc to finish. Back of a length on off, Lakmal throws his bat at it, but is beaten for pace. The ball lobs up towards short point, Starc scampers across, sprints there and gets low to complete a stunning two-handed screamer even as fielders hurtled in to take the catch. Made that look easy. 177/9

1.4 to MDKJ Perera, superb catch. 133 kph, full outside off, the ball moves away through the air and after pitching. Kusal doesn't care, reaches for it and tries to clear the off side infield. The ball takes the outside edge, and with all the power from his stroke, it carries to Starc who misjudged it initially, but came in and took a good catch low in front of his chest. 15/2
15.2 to LD Chandimal, lovely catch. A slower bouncer on middle and leg, forcing Chandimal to use his own power. All the batsman can do is mis-time his pull to deep square leg. Henriques runs in and completes a good catch, low to the ground. 138/6
15.6 to SS Pathirana, taken at cover. A low full toss outside off, a nothing delivery. Pathirana looks to clear the cover fielder but the ball lobs to Head at cover off the toe end. A simple reverse-cupped catch and Sri Lanka sink further. 142/7

4.2 to DM de Silva, trying to be too cute, but has paid the price. Dhananjaya was tempted to play the scoop because he saw fine leg was in, but failed to get underneath the back-of-the-hand slower delivery which pitched on leg and hit leg stump once it beat the bat. Poor stroke under the circumstances, considering he would had to force the pace to that delivery. 45/3

7.5 to BKG Mendis, the party is over! The crowd is stunned, and the Aussies are relieved. Who takes the catch? It's that man, Maxwell. This wasn't the ball that quite deserved a wicket, but it doesn't matter. It was short outside off, sitting up nicely for Mendis to play the pull, which he does so very well. He fetched it from outside off and hit it straight down the throat of the man at deep midwicket. What a pity, the entertainment is over. 76/4
402716.7580210
10.3 to NLTC Perera, beautiful bowling from Zampa. Knows exactly what is going to happen so continues to bowl the googly to Perera. Pitches on leg, moves to middle. Perera's wild swing results in a leading edge which carries to short third man. A splendid but of bowling, drew Perera into the big stroke with some flight but pulled the length back just enough to ensure Perera doesn't get close. 94/5
