Fall of wickets: 1-12 (Dale Richards, 3.5 ov), 2-21 (Chris Gayle, 4.6 ov), 3-76 (Shivnarine Chanderpaul, 29.4 ov), 4-90 (Brendan Nash, 31.4 ov), 5-105 (Narsingh Deonarine, 37.6 ov), 6-181 (Denesh Ramdin, 60.5 ov), 7-187 (Shane Shillingford, 62.3 ov), 8-204 (Dwayne Bravo, 66.1 ov), 9-207 (Kemar Roach, 68.6 ov), 10-231 (Sulieman Benn, 73.5 ov)

4.6 to CH Gayle, for the third time in the series Gayle has played one on, after having scored 20 of the 21 runs on the board. Not the smartest of the shots, looks to cut, but it is too full and too straight for the shot. Add the slight shape into him, and Gayle has got himself out. 21/2
66.1 to DJ Bravo, and Bravo is gone first ball! Rush of blood to the head! Is he expecting a bouncer? Length ball outside off, Bravo's feet are rooted and he swings at it, the edge settles in Smith's lap, and another WI collapse immediately after a break continues. 204/8
68.6 to KAJ Roach, this one seemed a matter of time, top pace, back of a length, slightly outside off, making Roach poke at him, and there is some extra bounce too. All he manages is an edge through to Boucher. 207/9
1024814.80447100
3.5 to DM Richards, Morkel has struck! Richards has missed the review trick here, or has he? This is fuller, perhaps the first length ball Morkel has bowled to Richards, and he plays across the line, and is hit on the back leg. Everthing looks right with the appeal, except that it has hit him over the knee roll, which is pretty close to the stumps, so not much distance to travel. Richards has a word with Gayle, and decides against challenging that call. The replays show it would have hit the top of the stumps, so a good call from Taufel and from Richards. 12/1
1213623.00553120
60.5 to D Ramdin, this was coming! Another bouncer from Kallis, not as high as the previous one, Ramdin plays a weak hook, and the top edge carries to fine leg where Steyn takes a safe, low catch. Kallis has earned this wicket through some vicious bouncers. 181/6
62.3 to S Shillingford, so good old tailend wicket, soften 'em up, give them a wide one, and get an edge! Nice catch by Botha at gully. 187/7
19.525642.82933300
29.4 to S Chanderpaul, Kallis! What a catch! Nicely bowled too, there is dip there, drawing Chanders forward and making him reach out, then there is the turn that takes an edge, and then Kallis dives low to his left to puck it one-handed. I don't there was even half a second's time there. 76/3
31.4 to BP Nash, Review! This one turns sharply, angling in towards leg stump, pitching middle and leg, and turning away sharply, past the bat, hitting him on the back leg, in front of middle and off. Height is good too. Taufel gives it not-out, Smith takes his time before making the T sign. Taufel doesn't really have any option but to overrule his own call. It's taking a long time. Taufel still in discussion with Asad Rauf. It's been more than a minute. Finally he crosses his arms, touches his shoulders, and raises his finger. Botha has struck in back-to-back overs. 90/4
37.6 to N Deonarine, awful batting from Deonarine, he has been asking to de dismissed since lunch. Just like in St Kitts, he has come out swinging since lunch, and this time chooses to pull a delivery that is not quite short enough. he misses it, and the ball kisses the outside of the off stump. 105/5
73.5 to SJ Benn, and suddenly he plays a poor shot to prove me wrong! Reverse sweep of all of the injudicious shots! He is nowhere near pulling it off, the ball hits the back of the bat, then the glove, and then lobs to forward short leg. Anyway Benn did better than was expected of him. 231/10

2.1 to AN Petersen, gone! Roach strikes! Not the best shot Petersen has played. Goes for the pull from outside outside off, and top-edges it towards square leg where Chanderpaul takes an easy catch. 17/1
131.1 to DW Steyn, What a ball! What a strike! Steyn has no clue what happenned there. Meanwhile Steyn and Benn get into trouble but first lets get the dismissal. It landed on a length around off and middle and cut towards the off. It hit the back pad and fell on the off stumps. Now for that drama. 333/9
906517.22319027
19.6 to PL Harris, Bess and Gayle make me eat my words here! Maiden Test wicket for Bess! He has released pressure, and that means Harris is playing more shots, and plays at this back-of-a-length delivery well outside off, and the edge is safely taken by Gayle at first slip. High fives all around for Brandon. 60/3
2528503.40988000
46.4138161.732276000
10.1 to HM Amla, what a loose shot! what a soft dismissal! Benn knows he has been lucky, and doesn't celebrate wildly. This is short, this is wide, we are looking at the point boundary, but he has hit it in the air, to backward point, Nash. 41/2
38.5 to GC Smith, Benn gets his man! Extra bounce does it for him. He has worked hard for this one, Smith goes. Flighted outside off, in those foot marks, gets sharp turn and bounce, Smith who is looking to defend gets an inside edge onto the pad, and then a simple catch for forward short leg. 122/4
46.6 to JH Kallis, arm ball! and he misjudges the line, leaving this one alone, this pitches just outside off (he perhaps thought this would land wider, which his not covering the stumps suggests), and then goes in with the angle, hitting the top of off stump. Replays show that might not have been an arm ball, just coming in with the angle. 145/5
100.1 to AB de Villiers, short and wide, he goes for the cut, Benn's extra bounce gets a healthy edge, and Ramdin takes a nice catch, straightforward decision for Taufel. 279/6
126.3 to J Botha, Five-for for Benn! Dead plumb! It landed on the middle and leg and turned. Botha goes well back to defend and pushes inside the line. The ball turns past his poke and hits the back leg in front of middle. Very very easy decision for Taufel. Nice little moment for Benn. 326/8
134.4 to M Morkel, Wicket no 6 for Benn. No one laughed derisively. No one spat. They all walk back quietly. It straightened just outside off and Morkel stabbed it to first slip. fine bowling performance from Benn. The light roller comes out.. 346/10

4.4 to DM Richards, There comes the rash shot. Steyn roars. . It was the bouncer that came into Richards who went for the pull but was cramped by the inward movement. He ended up playing a very weak pull. The ball lobbed behind square-leg and Petersen runs back to take it lunging forward. Gayle was constantly talking to Richards through the brief innings but it hasn't done much. 27/1
4.5 to N Deonarine, Deonarine has combusted spontaneously immediately on arrival. What a poor shot. It seems to be a pattern with him. Pity. It was a full delivery outside off and Deonarine goes for the expansive square drive away from the body. But they had placed a short cover point exactly for that! Why would you play that shot? What a brain freeze.. 27/2
8.4 to CH Gayle, No 3 for Steyn. What a ripper! It not only kicked up short of length but curved in as well. Gayle was done in by both the bounce and the movement. He tried to take the bottom-hand of the handle and stabbed out at it. The ball shaped in, kissed the gloves and went to Boucher. Roar of Joy from Steyn. What a day he has had. West Indies wobbling here.. 36/3
14.153332.32726000
61.2 to SJ Benn, Watch the off stump. It has been knocked out of earth. Morne went round the stumps for this ball and did the damage. The shiny side was held outside. The ball landed on a length around off and moved towards the off stump. Benn stabbed out it, late in getting forward - in fact he doesn't get forward and pushes out at it - and met thin air. Clatter!. 151/8
63.6 to KAJ Roach, Just one more now. It was a very full delivery outside off and Roach, as we have seen him today, preferred to hang back. Mistake. He then tries to come forward but is too late. He is not in great position when he goes for the off drive and edges it behind.. 161/9
65.1 to BJ Bess, And he is out first ball. It was the short one outside off, kicking up from short of length and Bess stabs it to low to second slip. South Africa need just 47 runs to polish this off.. 161/10
1633412.12751100
29.3 to DJ Bravo, Turn, bounce and gone! What a wickedly-delicious delivery! It was delivered from round the stumps, landed on middle and leg and turned. And bounced. Bravo was squared-up and tried to play it with soft hands. The ball made contact with the bat, fell in front and back spun between his legs! And it fell on the stumps. Bravo is aghast. Harris pumps his fist. Boucher is delirious.. 74/5
2054632.30964102
26.3 to BP Nash, it drifted in from round the stumps and spun away from Nash who poked at it. Fatal poke. The edge takes the ball to Kallis. Four down and struggling here.. 70/4
30.4 to D Ramdin, Ramdin doesn't last long. Not a surprise. It was the top spinner from round the stumps. It was full in length but Ramdin goes back and tries to cut. Mistake. Huge mistake. Edge and gone!. 75/6
54.4 to S Shillingford, Dead plumb! Shilly's valiant resistance ends. It was really quick and straightened a touch. Well , at least it didn't spin in as much as Shilly thought. It tilted in slightly and perhaps, hurried and surprised by the pace, he pushed inside the line and it brushed the front pad and hit the back leg. Enter Sulieman Benn!. 128/7

2.1 to GC Smith, The short ball gets him. Eventually. He was hit on the neck once and edged another over mid-on. This time he pulls it weakly straight to Chanders at midwicket. 14/1
4.2 to AN Petersen, Full in length outside off stump, Petersen goes for the cover drive and gets the inside edge. Fatal. Clatter!. 29/2
8.3 to HM Amla, Third for Roach. Fine spell today. It was the full length outside off and Amla slashes it of the outer edge to gully. Amla hasn't had a good Test series. Too impetuous. Too many high-risk shots.. 45/3
