2.2 to RS Morton, Got his man this time! full and it pitched on the off stump and straigthened towards the off stump and Morton went back and across but was surprised by the movement back into him and is trapped in front of the off stump. It would have taken the top of the off stump.. 1/2
10.5 to BC Lara, Got his man this time! Lara is out! lovely delivery that pitched on the off stump, on a length, and seamed away sharply. Lara, who had allowed the previous two balls to go through to the wicketkeeper, comes forward and has a poke at it. He tries to steer it through gully and is beaten by the movement and ends up edging to Dravid at first slip. The great batsman is gone and India are on top of things here. 24/3
46.3 to IDR Bradshaw, on the middle and off stump line, Bradshaw has a swipe across the line and the ball flies down to long-on, Harbhajan moves in from the deep and takes it cleanly - Bradshaw too departs, trying to force the pace - West Indies eight down. 163/8

1.4 to CH Gayle, gone! first strike to Agarkar! Pushed across Gayle who has a lame poke at it, and nicks it behind. A nothing shot, as they say and West Indies have lost the man who gave them a roaring start in the first game. India on the offensive here!. 1/1
49.5 to JE Taylor, Agarkar hits back for India! good length delivery, close to the off stump line, Taylor for starters steps away in an effort to make room, but changes his mind, basically he lost it totally and in the end it was a nothing shot, faint edge produced and Dhoni takes a good low catch - West Indies nine down. 197/9

18.6 to S Chanderpaul, short and wide outside the off stump, a delivery filled with nothingness, Chanderpaul leans back and cuts it away in the air towards point, Kaif there times his jump to perfection and pouches it safely - West Indies four down and in deep trouble here. 43/4

35.5 to DJ Bravo, Wonderful catch by Raina at short midwicket! tossed outside the off stump, it drifts further away and Bravo, who had come down the track, tries to whip it from outside the off stump and mistimes his flick-drive and Raina dives forward and to his left to come up with a superb catch. 105/6
41.6 to CS Baugh, and Baugh departs! long-hop from Powar, Baugh rocks back and pulls hard, gets under it a bit and the ball balloons up towards deep midwicket, Pathan runs in from the deep and nicely settles under it - West Indies seven down. 143/7

34.6 to MN Samuels, gone! beautiful work by Dhoni! It pitched on the off and middle stump line and Samuels backs to the leg a bit and tries to cut but is beaten by the extra bounce and Dhoni, moving towards his left, pouches it safely. And what's more whips off the bails as Samuels falls outside the crease, just in case the catch was not given!. 103/5

  • Over 8.1: Irfan Pathan bowls a delivery to Ramnaresh Sarwan without Billy Doctrove, the Umpire at Square-leg in position. Sarwan pushes one to the on side and they go through for a quick run and Raina, from short midwicket, comes in and throws the stumps down. It is only when the Indian fielders appeal for a run-out that they realise the Umpire was not in position. Umpire Doctrove was at the squareleg fence attending to some sideboards which were causing sighting-problems for the batsmen. The two umpires, Asad Rauf and Billy Doctrove, after consultations, decided to call and signal 'Dead Ball', returned both batsmen to their respective ends, and had that ball bowled again.
