4.3 to SR Watson, got him! Chopped it on! Short and wide, went for the cut, the shot was on but a bit of inward movement did him in ultimately, a thick inside edge straight onto middle and off to give England their first breakthrough. 19/1
8.6 to RT Ponting, gone! A hint of frustration as he had middled the last few balls but didn't find the gap, Anderson had set it up, hurled it short on middle, Ponting pulled it away disdainfully but straight into the palms of Sidebottom positioned perfectly at fine leg, two down. 40/2
43.1 to CJ Ferguson, got him! Swinging it back in, lands on the off and nips back and Ferguson was surprised by the movement, tried to fend it away into the leg side, got an inside edge onto the pads and then onto the stumps, timely wicket for England. 220/5
47.4 to CL White, But he contains the damage somewhat with a wicket! Not the best of deliveries, though, another full toss and White miscues the pull, the shot was on but it caught the top edge and Denly took a simple catch at extra cover. 273/6
906517.22329140
49.3 to JR Hopes, but he's gone this time! Had made too much room and Sidebottom threw in a low full toss outside off, Hopes had to reach for it and ended up chipping in straight to Strauss at extra cover. 288/8
1004914.90323200
40.3 to TD Paine, excellent catch by Prior! England are fighting back, the scoring had slowed down and Paine was getting restless, short outside off, goes for the slog over midwicket, gets a thin inside edge and Prior snaps it sharply behind the wicket. 206/4
906006.66246130
1004814.80264010
39.2 to MEK Hussey, gone! Flatter outside off, takes it on the half-volley and tries to slog-sweep it over deep midwicket but doesn't get hold of it, Joe Denly watches it comfortably into his hands to give England a much-needed wicket. 203/3

0.2 to AJ Strauss, gone! Strauss is surprised by the bouncer, gets his bat and glove away from it, evades the bouncer but the ball brushes the shoulder on the way to the keeper, the umpire Asad Rauf takes his time and then raises his finger, turns out it's the wrong call, an early setback for England. 0/1
40.6 to JM Anderson, all over! Fast and furious from round the wicket on the off stump, Anderson has no answer to that one, can't bring his bat down in time and hears the death rattle!. 185/10
1004224.20302020
23.2 to EJG Morgan, five down! Lands on a length outside off, Morgan tries to clear extra cover there, wasn't a great deal of intent in that shot, ended up slicing it straight to Hussey at deep point who held on to a simple catch. 100/5
34.5 to GP Swann, got him! Slowed it down even more this time, and it held its line as it angled towards middle and leg, Swann tried to drive it through midwicket, missed as he was a little early into the shot and the stumps took a beating. 159/8
812212.75321000
39.2 to RJ Sidebottom, cleaned him up! Full and straight on middle, tries to drive it past midwicket, clips the pads and crashes into the stumps, nine down now, too quick for the batsman, that. 182/9
903233.55321100
10.5 to JL Denly, Denly has to go back! Lands on a good length outside off, came down the track to take it on the half-volley and loft it over mid-off, didn't get to the pitch nor did he connect it well, got far more elevation than distance and Brett Lee did a good job taking a few steps back, maintaining a still head and watching it into his palms. 45/2
27.2 to OA Shah, another wicket! Full outside off, had made room, his eyes lit up and he tried to clear mid-off but that was mistimed and it landed straight into the hands of Watson there stationed exactly for such a shot, only a matter of time now. 114/6
29.4 to AD Mascarenhas, bowled'im! Not very often that you see it happen, straying on middle and leg, Mascarenhas shuffles across to work it through square, it clips the bottom of the thigh pad and then crashes into the stumps, seven down, Australia inch their way to a 6-0 lead. 125/7
