Fall of wickets: 1-4 (Hashim Amla, 0.5 ov), 2-54 (Quinton de Kock, 12.4 ov), 3-62 (Jean-Paul Duminy, 15.4 ov), 4-124 (Faf du Plessis, 31.4 ov), 5-150 (David Miller, 38.4 ov), 6-233 (Ryan McLaren, 47.6 ov), 7-240 (Robin Peterson, 48.4 ov)

0.5 to HM Amla, fuller ball on middle and leg which Amla fails to get a bat on as Irfan goes up instantly for the appeal. This one rapped on the pads and it looked plumb on first sight. Umpire raises the slow finger of death, and Amla consults with de Kock before deciding against reviewing the decision. Big blow early for South Africa, and Pakistan will be over the moon as Amla falls again cheaply in this series. 4/1

12.4 to Q de Kock, length ball right on middle and leg as de Kock, stuck on the back foot, is rapped on the pads. Ajmal likes it, and after some deliberation, the umpire confirms it. Another timely blow for the Pakistanis as de Kock was certainly looking the more fluent of the pair. This one does not appear to be reviewed so it is officially two down for South Afirca. 54/2
38.4 to DA Miller, and the torture for Miller is over as he hits this length ball, arguably quicker than the previous few deliveries, straight back to Ajmal off the back foot. Was in no position to play that shot and pays the price ultimately as he is surprised by the quicker one. South Africa lose a wicket in the Powerplay, and they are now 150 for 5. 150/5
47.6 to R McLaren, fuller length on middle and off as McLaren goes for a sweep himself, but ends up getting an edge and spooning up to backward square leg, who probably cannot believe his luck as this comes down ever so gently into his waiting hands. A little bit late for Pakistan though. 233/6
301013.3380000
15.4 to JP Duminy, back of a length and JP, stuck on the back foot, hits this uppishly to silly mid-on, where Ahmed Shehzad is stationed, as Shehzad dives forward to take a good catch. So South Africa are now three down and Pakistan sense they can get some more.. 62/3
1003703.70291010

31.4 to F du Plessis, and Pakistan strike, just after I spoke about how Junaid had been lacking inspiration. Du Plessis, looking to cart this over midwicket, instead hits this back of a length ball straight into the waiting hands of deep square leg, who doesn't make any mistakes. Threw away what would have been a real fighting fifty there from the vice-captain. 124/4
48.4 to RJ Peterson, back of a length, stayed somewhat low, as this nips back to hit the stumps as Peterson goes for the lofted pull through midwicket. Fair play to him as South Africa need to have as much insurance as possible in terms of runs. 240/7

4.5 to Mohammad Hafeez, fuller this time on the same line, except this time Hafeez plays all around it as this one comes in and knocks back the middle peg. Two down for just eight on the board. A familiar scene is unfolding here folks. 8/2
8.1 to Umar Amin, fuller length ball on a middle stump line as the ball crashes straight into the pads. Philander is adamant and the umpire raises his finger. The batsmen think about a review, but decide against it. Replays show it was even more plumb than I had thought. So three down and Pakistan on 17. South Africa looking to go for the jugular. 17/3
702814.00292130
3.6 to Ahmed Shehzad, back of a length on leg stump as Shehzad plays a lovely calypso hook of sorts, which sails ever so lovely into the hands of Vernon Philander, who was stationed at deep fine leg. First wicket down and South Africa on their way. Pakistan have a major hurdle to overcome here. 8/1
4.312124.66183020
16.2 to Misbah-ul-Haq, back of a length and Misbah goes for the pull, finding short mid-on without any trouble. He was in no control of it, and he falls, for less than a fifty. I can scarcely believe it myself. This is headlines stuff.. 56/4
35.3 to Sohail Tanvir, and in the most innocuous way Tanvir edges a McLaren delivery which de Kock snaps up gleefully. Looked like he got a feather of an edge there, with that Pakistan are out for 151. 151/10
502905.80133000
713635.14234040
29.4 to Shahid Afridi, back of a length and Afridi is in no control of this pull as it goes straight up, with Parnell waiting under it to complete a tumbling catch. And with that Boom Boom comes and goes. Pakistan in serious trouble at 128 for 6. 128/6
31.2 to Saeed Ajmal, fuller length ball and going down middle and leg as Ajmal misses this completely. It looked a good shout from here as the umpire deliberates before giving it out. Pakistan have no reviews so Ajmal has to agree with the marching orders. 131/8
33.2 to Mohammad Irfan, would you believe it! Irfan has been bounced out. I am in shock. Parnell gets this to rear up at a vicious height as Irfan flays at the ball with his bat in order to protect his head, with the ball spooning up to a rather bemused looking Hashim Amla, who takes an easy catch. Pakistan nine down. 131/9
411423.50151000
26.4 to Umar Akmal, this one speared on the pads as Umar plays all around it going for the sweep. JP appeals and the umpire raises the finger. Replays show the ball to be in line and plumb, with no chance of an inside edge. Akmal goes for the review and it is three reds so a review has been wasted, and Pakistan are now five down. 110/5
30.2 to Sohaib Maqsood, and unfortunately Maqsood gives in to the pressure as he goes for yet another heave down the pitch, but spoons it up straight over the long-on fielder, who takes the catch. End of yet another excellent innings from Maqsood. Hard to believe this is just his second ODI. 130/7
