Research of the score book has shown that PGH Fender scored his hundred from
between 40 and 46 balls.He contributed 113 to an unfinished sixth-wicket partnership of 171 in 42 minutes with HA Peach.
EB Alletson (Nottinghamshire) scored 189 out of 227 runs in 90 minutes
against Sussex at Hove in 1911.
It has been estimated that his last 139 runs took 37 minutes.
