Clea Smith is fast becoming one of the more experienced members of the Australian team. She made her Test debut against England at Hove on the 2005 Ashes tour and left an imposing mark by sharing in a record 10th wicket stand of 119 runs with fellow debutante Shelley Nitschke to rescue Australia's innings.

But it is with the ball that Clea does most damage and impose herself on world class players; her right arm medium pacers often used in opening spell combinations to snare a breakthrough wicket.
