1.1 to LU Igalagamage, slower ball to start results in a wicket. Batsman was well out in front of this and couldn't check his hands softly enough. Full length ball on off stump is shoveled high to mid-on. Easy catch on the ring.. 3/1 16.3 to Qais Ahmad, fullish length and wide on sixth stump, Qais' charge is defeated by Thushara. Couldn't reach the bat to this cleanly aiming for mid-on and a thick edge flies to deep third man, easy catch taken by Amir crouching two yards in from the rope.. 123/7 | ||||||||||

5.3 to LD Chandimal, hooping inswinger finally does the trick! What a gem! He's been bowling a number of these darting in from outside off. Chandimal felt it was safe enough to drive but is beaten by the movement and it kisses the leg bail. Just a gentle smooch to light up the stumps! Beauty!. 32/2 17.2 to ST de Silva, another slower ball fetches a wicket! Dhananjaya Lakshan has been superb today. Slower bouncer on fifth stump, batsman tries to keep his hands back attempting to slap this flat over long-off, didn't time it at all and it flutters toward long-off where the fielder takes this charging 20 yards forward and pouches it sliding on his knees.. 126/8 | ||||||||||

9.4 to AD Mathews, flights this wider on sixth stump, Mathews tries to slog this to midwicket but it's too far to drag across and it results in a top edge that swirls over mid-off. Fielder Shehan Jayasuriya comes into the ring and settles under it before taking the catch falling forward on his knees. Clever bowling to stretch Mathews away from his body to make him reach out with a risky swipe.. 57/3 11.3 to AD Russell, what's happening here? Flighted full outside leg, Russell goes to sweep and mistimes this off the gloves then the pads before popping up to the keeper. Given not out. They call for the review. Russell walks off immediately after the 3rd umpire is called for and Galle starts celebrating. Replays confirm he is indeed out and the decision overturned.. 75/4 13.6 to SMA Priyanjan, tries to flick this from fifth stump through midwicket. Almost a carbon copy dismissal shot to the one that claimed Mathews. Floated full and wide to encourage a drive, Bell-Drummond is a touch loose carving this uppishly toward extra cover, enough air under it to allow Bhanuka to dive left and pluck this at knee height. Pitches on a fullish length on fifth stump and tails back in, Ali with a very loose drive leaving a tremendous gap between bat and pad. Doesn't have to search too hard to find a way to sneak through. Qais jogs in casually to take this 10 yards inside the rope. Poor poor shot from the tournament's most consistently dangerous batting threat.. 13/1 8.1 to PBB Rajapaksa, too casual by the batsman, too easy stumping down the leg side! Priyanjan flights this on the pads and the drift takes it down leg as the batsman walks past the ball missing a flick for midwicket. Straightforward take and removal of the bails by Chandimal.
