0.4 to JJ Peirson, well, the move to open up with Peirson for the first time in a few years backfires.... Full on middle and leg at 134 kph, loose flick in the air carries to the man at deep midwicket for a simple catch five yards inside the rope taken crouching on one knee.. 0/1
3.2 to CA Lynn, candidate for catch of the tournament by Abbott at extra cover! Back of a length on fourth stump, Lynn smashes a back foot punch and Abbott flies sharply to his right with a diving one-handed effort to pluck this with his right-hand at knee height as he floats in slow motion before landing on the turf. To make it even harder, the ball was moving from the sunlight into the shadows across the infield but Abbott was not flustered one bit.. 13/3

1.6 to TLW Cooper, full on middle and off, almost a carbon copy of the ball that was whipped for six a few balls earlier over backward square. Cooper tries to play another wristy flick but misses and it grazes the pads before going onto the stumps.. 8/2
9.1 to BM Duckett, yorker on fourth stump, Duckett tries to jam this out and winds up spooning this off the toe where it floats to extra cover for a simple catch by Kerr charging in from the ring. Initially it looked like a bump ball but replays show that the ball pitched before making contact with the bat and floated up to Kerr.. 41/5
12.5 to M Bryant, full on fourth stump, heaves this to deep square leg where Silk settles under it three yards in from the rope. Was swirling for a long time but he gets on his haunches to get his body controlled and allows the ball to have a bit more cushion on the take.. 63/7
18.6 to JD Wildermuth, crashes into his stumps! Wildermuth's day with the bat is done. The ball keeps a touch low from a good length on middle and off, and while he trusted there would be some bounce, he went for the pull while playing across the line. But first, the ball wasn't all that short, and then, it didn't bounce a great deal. Bang into middle and off. 104/9
401824.5090000
10.3 to XC Bartlett, fullish length slower ball on sixth stump, Bartlett is through the shot a touch early and feathers a toe edge through to the keeper taken at ankle height.. 46/6
16.2 to JJ Bazley, taken by Abbott this time! It was exactly the same delivery which was bowled previous ball - short of a length, and on middle-stump line, getting to climb on toward the batter. Bazley was ready to launch another pull, but again got that from the higher side of the bat to send that down long-on's throat, who didn't have to move a step around to take that. 86/8

5.3 to SD Heazlett, back of a length on off stump, Heazlett goes back to pull but the ball skids on a touch low to beat the shot and smash into the middle of middle stump.. 21/4

0.2 to JR Philippe, sliced to mid-off, and Sixers lose one already! The ball was much fuller on off, as he planted his front leg on middle and leg, and tried to loft that over the in-field. But the bat face slightly opened at the last moment, as the ball took off from the splice right to the man at mid-off. Heat start well in their defense. 0/1
402225.50132100
1.1 to JM Vince, gone first ball! Vince has a golden duck, and Heat right in the game. It was the perfect good length ball pitching round about off stump - just the ideal Test-match length you would say - as Vince was half-forward to try and defend, while the ball deviated away just a touch. But the ball took the outside edge as he tried to block, and went bang to first slip. 0/2
6.4 to DT Christian, leading edge, and snaffled by deep point! Good catch by Heazlett after taking a few steps forward and going low. Half the Sixers side back in the hut. Christian closes the bat face to try and clip that good length ball on off, but instead sends that sailing toward deep point. To be fair, there wasn't great bounce there too. But oh my, who said Heat were done? Here they come again. 29/5
401924.75101000
3.6 to DP Hughes, taken by cover-point! Good judgement by the fielder there. He had to take many a step to his right while maintaining his eyes all the way as well. A full delivery outside off, and Hughes attempted to slice that, but ended up skying it off the bottom of the bat. His struggle ends, as Heat strike again. Game on here!. 21/3
8.6 to H Kerr, great catch by point! Bryant the fielder there, as he has to half-dive to his left while collecting the ball high near his head with a reverse-cup. It was a back of a length ball outside off, and Kerr opened the bat face to try and flick that, but got a leading edge, and great anticipation by the fielder meant he nabbed at that aerial ball. 35/7
401213.00120000
7.1 to MC Henriques, shout for caught behind, and given! Mujeeb's turn to join the party now. Henriques looked to block that fullish ball outside off, which turned in just enough to take Henriques' outside edge for a faint tickle behind to the keeper. Pierson went up immediately, and the umpire's finger followed. But guess what, it seemed like the ball beat his bat comfortably on replay, with the bat probably brushing his pad. 30/6
401824.50132000
5.1 to JC Silk, taken by point, and Sixers get into a hole now! Wildermuth strikes first ball. That was a soft dismissal in the end, as he ended up slicing that full delivery outside off to point. Silk tried to open the bat face to run that down, but only ended up chipping that right to the man there, who goes low to grab that. More fun for Heat. 26/4
12.5 to Shadab Khan, nabbed at short midwicket! That was hit very hard, and Duckett did very well to hold on to that. It was a short ball on off, and Shadab crunched that pull very powerfully. But Duckett was placed pretty close at midwicket - almost halfway inside the circle - and took that above his head. A very good take there. 47/8
