2.1 to KC Brathwaite, hoho what a beauty! Inswinger first up and it's Allan Donald-esque, violently darting into the batsman's pads and it deflects onto the leg stump. An absolute cracker. Brathwaite totally beaten and it would have taken exceptionally sharp reflexes to get a bat down on that. 2/1
82.6 to MN Samuels, another drive attempted and this is nicked to second slip! Anderson strikes with an inswinger, a nice full delivery too, Samuels trying to punch it down the ground gets a thick outside edge and Bell makes no mistake at shoulder height with two hands. 223/6
2496142.541207200
28.4 to DM Bravo, tad wider and Bravo plays a rather lazy flick at it and edges to first slip! Simple catch for Cook. Bravo will be disappointed with that; poor stroke. Just followed a length ball really that was angled across him, sort of tried to run it down towards third man but not really, it was a flirt and the ball already had a boyfriend. Thick edged pouched. Bonus for England. 65/3
87.1 to D Ramdin, wide on the crease, angled in, Ramdin pushes at it and it nibbles away to take the outside edge through to Buttler. Lovely delivery just got it to straighten enough for a feather edge behind. 91mph, a fillip for Broad. Ramdin was desperately trying to keep the bat inside the line but he was too late. 233/7
89.6 to JO Holder, revenge now! Fuller just outside off, Holder goes out to drive and nicks off! This nibbles away a little and takes a thin edge through to Buttler. Scrambled seam from Broad and it's done the trick. Holder should have left this but he's seeing it well so fancied another drive but the length wasn't quite there. 246/8
93.2 to KAJ Roach, full length, takes a little inside edge off the front pad that loops to gully! Nine down now. A nice full ball on off stump - simple game this eh! - nibbles in a little, takes a thick inside edge into the front pad that presents an easy catch to gully. 247/9
2546522.601177012
13.6 to DS Smith, now a full wide one outside off, Smith follows it and nicks it to the keeper! A long lean outside off to drive, very thin nick, given straight away from umpire Davis, but Buttler very nearly lost it as it went to celebrate. Smith stood his ground for a while but declined a review, so difficult to get an overturn without Hot Spot. 28/2
53.5 to J Blackwood, huge appeal for lbw! Looks good, Blackwood caught on the crease as it straightens on him, not that far forward. Steve Davis says not out and Cook reviews. No bat involved. Height the issue, I think. Hit him on the knee roll. And it's three reds! England will get that. HawkEye says it was slamming into leg stump. 129/5
13.414713.43607000
104.4 to D Bishoo, straighter and fuller, swept, misses, big lbw appeal and given out! It looked pretty straight but Bishoo reivews hoping he shuffled outside the line. But it need to be completely outside the line and missing the stumps to save him. There's no edge, all depends on Hawk Eye...and it's umpire's call on both hitting in line and hitting the stumps...taking a big chunk out of the top of off in fairness. 299/10
1776613.887410000
33.2 to S Chanderpaul, full length sliding across the left-hander, Chanderpaul reaches out to drive it and chips it to point! The change works immediately. Another poor stroke, reaching away from his body, the weight was back, and it popped up square on the off side, just carrying low to Moeen diving forward. 74/4

64.1 to AN Cook, shortish and Cook tries to cut, he's dragged on! Weary shake of the head from Cook, there will be no hundred today, the 23-month wait goes on. Gabriel is rewarded for his spit-and-sawdust approach, he's kept plugging away... This just tailed in at Cook from around the wicket, cramped him for room and cannoned into the stumps off the bottom edge. 159/2
66.1 to IR Bell, another one, Bell chops on, Gabriel has two in two overs! Off stump is out of the ground, another attempt at a cross-batted shot goes awry. A chink of light opens up for West Indies. 164/3
21.165702.691027001
511017743.4721112402
49.2 to IJL Trott, and now he's struck! Lovely piece of bowling, he's probed away, this is tossed up on off stump, like the previous ball, and Trott has a drive with the edge being well held at second slip. 125/1
118.1 to BA Stokes, picked out deep midwicket! A drag-down from Bishoo, Stokes pulls, doesn't roll his wrists, and lands in the lap of deep midwicket. 364/6
127.4 to JC Buttler, tossed up, here comes Buttler - done him, past the outside edge and Ramdin completes the stumping! Showed some nerve there, Bishoo, gave it a bit of a rip and the ball dipped and turned as Buttler came out to meet it again. 387/7
137.5 to SCJ Broad, tossed up around leg stump to the left-handed Broad, he attempts a sweep and gets a loopy top edge, slips runs behind the keeper to take it... But Broad asks for the review. Was it off the bat, glove or arm guard? We've got another tight one for Bowden to pore over, though this time he only needs conclusive evidence the on-field decision was wrong. Looks like a brush of glove, maybe just the wristband - which still counts - before hitting the arm guard. Yep, Billy likes it again. 431/9
2143811.80961000
107.5 to GS Ballance, breakthrough! Out of nowhere, really. A real loopy delivery from Samuels, 46mph, loads of air and very full...Ballance went for a drive and gets an inside edge into leg stump. A hundred goes begging. 329/4

2.4 to DS Smith, away-swinger and Smith drags it on! Smith decided to try and leave it so late and got a thick inside edge onto leg stump. Length from Anderson and it was the correct decision from Smith to try and leave it alone but it was a misjudgment. 3/1
81.1 to KC Brathwaite, breakthrough! Terrific short ball, and it's lobbed to gully. Climbs towards Brathwaite's throat, he had to play, fended at it with bat and gloves, the ball took the shoulder of the bat into the cordon. Excellent delivery to extract that life from this surface. The new ball works.. 224/3
85.4 to S Chanderpaul, oh goodness, what a catch on the juggle! Anderson finds the edge as Chanderpaul prods forward, the edge goes to Bell at second slip, at waist height, who parries it up in the air - he should have caught it - and Cook manages to grab the rebound, himself at the second attempt, flinging himself backwards and to his right at first slip. Superb reflex from the captain, huge moment. 238/4
87.5 to MN Samuels, and another! What a spell from Anderson. Another huge wicket. Short of a length outside off, Samuels in two minds whether to play who leave, in the end is too late withdrawing the bat, takes the toe end to Buttler. 239/5
2127113.389710000
50.5 to DM Bravo, pitched up, Bravo presses forward - and nicks it! England have chipped out the No. 3, who has been a model of forbearance but maybe just lost concentration, Broad was monotonously aiming full outside off, don't think this did anything dramatic out of the footmarks. Probably didn't need to play at it but got a feather through to Buttler. 145/2
2495132.121154000
101.6 to KAJ Roach, fuller ball, Roach tries to lift it over the leg side but finds Anderson at mid-on! The pressure tells, Roach cracks and it's Jimmy Anderson once again with a hand in the wicket, going to his right to take a simple chance really, Roach getting nowhere near enough on the attempted lofted drive. 282/8
111.4 to D Ramdin, Moeen strikes with a low full toss! Looked straight. Struck him full on the boot as he looked to flick it away. Ramdin reviews, as the last main batsman, but it doesn't look good for him. Only has to clip, remember, as given on field - and it's hitting middle half way up. 307/9
111.6 to ST Gabriel, and Moeen finishes off the innings! Gabriel playing back, the ball spins and hits him quite high. Eventually Gabriel reviews. Why he pondered so long I don't know. Height could be an issue. Nope, it isn't. Smashing top of middle and leg. He was a long way back on the stumps.. 307/10
2166913.28948001
92.4 to J Blackwood, what did I say about over the top drives? Full length around off stump and Blackwood tries to slam it down the ground but picks out mid-off! An excellent catch from Anderson at full stretch above his head. Live by the sword n'all but this was too loose for the situation, got it slightly low on the bat, couldn't lift it over the fielder and was well taken. 257/6
