1.3 to WIA Fernando, oh my! Fullish and he's spooned that straight to Chris Jordan at mid-off! Safe hands there, Jordan only had to take a step to his right and he gobbled up the catch. An early breakthrough for England.. 3/1 19.6 to MD Shanaka, length ball outside off, pace off again, top-edged to the keeper! Slogged straight up and Buttler walks forward a few paces to swallow the chance. So Shanaka falls to the final ball, but he's helped give the innings a sheen of respectability. 129/7 | ||||||||||

13.1 to MDKJ Perera, tally hooooooooooo... but plopped to mid-off! KJP comes down but slices across a googly and Jordan only has to jog in from the rope and steady himself for a simple catch. Rashid amongst 'em now, this is getting messy for the visitors. 79/5 15.4 to PW Hasaranga, loops this up a bit more, slogged down town... and that's a gimme for Jordan at long-on! Can't fault Hasaranga's thinking, that is a short hit, but he couldn't get enough power through the shot. Taken at chest height a couple of yards in. 96/6 | ||||||||||
