6.3 to Ahmed Shehzad, 133 kph, that's a poor shot. Shehzad's dire form continues. It's full and wide outside off. Wide enough for him to drive, but he needed to be more compact to ensure he was in control. He loosely throws his hands at it, gets it off the outside half of the bat and straight to backward point. Not a great delivery, not a great shot.. 27/2

3.3 to Fakhar Zaman, edged and gone! Beauty from Gamage. On a length from Gamage, but the ball moves away, like it has been doing for him through this spell. Zaman opts for the wrong stroke - trying to whip the ball into the leg side, against the angle of swing. What that generally means is the batsman will be squared up if there is substantial movement, and there is. A thick outside edge carries at head height to a wide slip. Fantastic bowling, but could have been played better. 17/1
9.6 to Mohammad Hafeez, 128 kph, edged and gone. Gamage is fired up. That's some response. On a length outside off, hafeez has been standing on off, so even though it's a sixth. maybe seventh-stump channel, Hafeez feels he has to play, a nothing prod. And then the magic, late, late away movement creates a thick outside edge which is easily taken by the keeper.. 40/3
49.1 to Babar Azam, a low full toss outside off, Babar stays in his crease and heaves the ball away, but finds long-on. Long boundaries, not easy to clear these boundaries. End of a fine innings. A tired shot.. 210/7
49.5 to Rumman Raees, taken at deep midwicket, but is it over waist height? A high full toss on leg, Raees swings again, but there is not enough power to clear the fielder at deep midwicket. Dananjaya runs to his right and takes a good, sharp catch. They are never easy to take. The ball is just below waist height. 218/9

27.3 to Imad Wasim, big appeal for lbw. It was turned down. And Sri Lanka have reviewed. He was looking to drive this through the off side, but wasn't to the pitch. Seemed like he was playing for a googly, but this turns back in and smashes into the front pad...there is no bat. The only thing to save him here is line of impact. It was close to being outside off stump. But we'll wait for tracking...impact in line. Wickets hitting. Decision overturned. Imad is gone. A good review from Tharanga. That looked liked it hit him outside off at full speed, but the replays show just how little his front leg had moved. Trapped right in front.. 101/6
1003423.40310000
17.1 to Shoaib Malik, gone! Guides it straight to the keeper. Oh Malik surely knows that's the not the shot on this kind of a surface, but he can only think about as he walks back. This is back of a length in the corridor, he waits a long time for it to come on and opens the face. Wasn't enough room or pace for that shot. It's a feeble dab in the end and a simple one for Dickwella. 71/4
19.6 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, drags it on! Thisara Perera is making wonderful use of this slow surface. Floats another one up wide outside off stump. It's 123 kph. Sarfraz goes with hard hands, way away from his body and gets a big inside edge. The front foot wasn't close to the ball and the gap was huge. Another poor shot. 79/5

2.2 to N Dickwella, plumb. A poor shot. Swipes across the line for one of his signature pick-up shots, but he's right in front as this length ball angles in off the seam. Knee height impact, no doubt at all. 10/1
813714.62285000
44.5 to JDF Vandersay, finds deep square leg! Is that it for Sri Lanka? Bouncer gets too big for Vandersay. He gets well under it as he goes after it with the hook. Can't blame him, the runs hadn't come this over. Finds Shehzad who pedals backwards and holds on well. 169/8
1023213.20402020
10.5 to BKG Mendis, and he gets him to hole out to deep square! Hasan Ali is screaming, as he runs past Mendis with his arms outstretched. A perfectly directed short ball, climbs on Mendis who ducked it last time, but was probably riled up by the words before the ball. Takes it on and top-edges it. Deep square had to run in a fair bit, but it was easy in the end. 30/2

27.2 to NLTC Perera, taken again. Sri Lanka are falling away. The umpires want to check if Babar has taken the catch. Babar certainly thinks he has. The soft signal is out. Beautiful bowling that, slow and loopy outside off. Thisara wafts, and the ball takes the outside edge. Travels low to Babar, whose hands are in the wrong position, the ball hits the wrist and the high part of the hand, but the ball ricochets back into his body, and he somehow wrangles his body into a position to take the catch via the thigh and the leg and the arm and whatnot. Pakistan don't care how.. 92/6
401714.25162000
22.5 to HDRL Thirimanne, well, it's here. Umpire Raza gives Thirimanne, but he reviews. Flight on leg, Thirimanne gets low for a slog sweep, but doesn't make any contact. He is struck right in front of leg, the ball drifts on and HawkEye suggests the ball is clipping the outside of leg stump. Not a bad review, Sri Lanka don't lose their review, but lose Thirimanne, whose shot selection through his innings was frankly dire.. 70/3
914735.22306010
24.5 to LD Chandimal, the googly, Chandimal did not pick that. Wow, massive bat-pad gap, and Shadab finds it. Makes a quality batsman look rather foolish. Discernibly released from the back of the hand, but Chandimal can't see that because he is seeing the front of the hand, it's beautifully pitched - flight, loop on off, which invites Chandimal into a drive. Big gap and the ball creeps through to knock into middle stump. 79/4
26.1 to TAM Siriwardana, taken this time by Babar. Sri Lanka's struggles to wristspin not different from the rest of the world. Siriwardana, this time, doesn't pick the googly, goes back and prods very conscious of the ball going through bat and pad, but it's not the legbreak. And Siriwardana has no clue. He is a good enough batsman to adjust and get close to the ball, but that's very risky in international cricket, the ball takes the outside edge and carries to Babar at waist height, to his left. I can say that he should play the line and allow himself to be beaten on the outside edge, but that's not easy at all. Fantastic delivery. 83/5
28.1 to A Dananjaya, another one! Seven down now Sri Lanka. As a tail-ender, against wristspin, you always have to be wary of the delivery that attacks the stumps - the legbreak to the left-hander and the googly to the right-hander. Dananjaya is a left-hander, but is not aware enough that Shadab will attack the stumps, because there are more modes of dismissals available. He goes back, misses the legbreak and the ball sneaks through to hit the stumps.. 93/7
