The Lightning eased to their target to win by five wickets with 9 balls to spare. Once again Tim Tector was the pick of the batters and finished unbeaten on 91 off only 56 balls.
George Dockrell came out after a couple of quick wickets went down, and steadied the ship. Showing once again how much he loved hitting the ball to all parts of the Pembroke ground.
Both Mayes and Foster ended up going for over fifty runs, although as a team the Knights don't look too down hearted as they are getting ready to receive the IP20 winners trophy.
Tim Tector has been excellent for the whole of this festival and has been rightly named as the player of the match.
The Knights are lining up to collect the trophy, and as they do that. I just want to thank you for following along for the last three day. It's been great to be able to get a full days play in today. I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did.
